How to Disable Tab Hover Cards on Google Chrome

Just a quick video on how to disable annoying tab hover cards in Chrome

Please Update This Issue In Chrome - Now That The Year Is 2023 Please.

This is so annoying it resets on every Chrome update and now they've removed the setting to disable it

They patched it :(

chrome force me to reinstall the chrome and now i cannot disable the tab hovercard. why chrome wants a useless feature, if you want to see the webpage which is already opened and loaded in the tab section you just click it and wala! you see it, why create a tine preview which you can "preview" it? it is not like reading a journal you need a brief introduction? and before the tab hovercard, if you move your mouth to the tab, you can still see the whole title, why create a bigger one and the new one cannot even show the entire title?

and now chrome deleted the option to disable the tab hover cards... good job chrome /s

Its not working anymore!, i think the latest versions of chrome has re enabled these terrible hover cards, do you know if there's another solution to getting rid of them again?... thanks!

There is no Tab Hover Cards in my browser, only Tab Hover Cards Images

This "fix" no longer works. I disabled it and the hover cards still appear.

Cause I remember disabling it some time ago but now it's back and I no longer can find the 'tab hover cards" option in flags.

The flag "Tab Hover Cards" don't exist anymore since 2 days since Chrome 91 and you can't change this stupid Hover Cards !
I hope Google will change it next update.

I still get the hover cards, even after disabling and relaunching. I also tried completely closing the browser and all background tasks associated with it. Did Chrome add something else that needs disabling? Using version Version 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10

Nice vid Britec as usual, but why not something like 8, 9 , 10, 1K, Chrome Flags You Should Enable for a Better Browsing Experience?

The only apparent reason for these tabs would be for accessibility, namely for those with vision impairments. Otherwise, I quite agree, they are annoying... thank you for your tutorials, they’re most helpful. Cheers!
