I have a 22 sportster s and I feel like it’s too stiff on the highway it feels like I have no suspension it feels super bouncy like if it’s just hopping everywhere I tried adjusting my preload and damping from Harley’s manual to there recommendations but I feel it didn’t help 😭can someone help 😢

to Max VA Disability - I cannot access your comment. So here is your reply: set fork preload with 4 lines showing and damping at 6 clicks from maximum. Use a cable tie to get fork travel at 10-20mm from the bottom of the chrome tube via preload.

These videos are basically just a waste of time...
If you want views and subscribers you need full length videos with actual content.
This isn't 2005, trying to get people to move over to another site to pay for content isn't a very good strategy.

You would be alot better off offering more complete content and then advertising your in person services.

Hey Dave I have a doubt about my duke suspension. My bike ground clearance is not enough for me(in India) 155mm. so i decided to tight my rear shock absorber. I thick it may help me to prevent from hitting in speed breakers.when I raid with pilion it hits always, without pilion it doesn't hit.if I tight the suspension to 10th step, it reduce the issue and also affect the suspension life???????

Before attending Dave's tuning session in Thousand Oaks last week I had given up on finding a good balanced setup and was ready to buy an aftermarket shock and springs. But a few minutes under the DMT tent answering his questions then making adjustments put this motorcycle RIGHT. The front - rear balance he obtained with stock suspension is remarkable. Controlled and still compliant. More confidence, more fun, more chores getting put off because I wanna go riding!

Great quote in the intro Dave............"No motorcycle's suspension off the showroom floor is setup correctly for any rider much less every rider". That is something I realise more and more with every one of your vids I watch.

As always great info, thanks!

I also ride Bridgestone S22 since a month now, but i noticed that the tire pressure at maximum load increased to 42psi for the front tire. All my previous front tires where rated at 36psi as a standard from the manufacture, but now it has gone up 6 psi. Is something changed in the Bridgestone front tire technology? Since the rear tire remains the same as always (42psi)

What tire pressure do you suggest, 125 lbs, r1m with the rs10 tires, preload is as soft as possible in rear, and like two turns in on front. No other adjustment on suspension (road 1 semi active)

I'm not even sure what I'm doing here. I have a fairly new KTM Duke 125, which I can barely ride and I was just wandering if I should touch the default preload setting on the shock (the only setting there is), because I'm lighter than average, I think. So I was looking around the internet, stumbled across Dave’s videos here and on the OTT channel and watched dozens already including some GSX-R750 disassembly. It’s fascinating :). I'm definitely going to recommend the MT-07 fork fix video to my colleague, who has one. Great stuff.
