It’s my first car and love it ❤
ОтветитьYes the lack of passenger toys has stopped me considering it. Glad it isn't just me. My wife is a nav when we travel
Ответитьthe ttrs would be a better option if you had extra cash
ОтветитьI'm in for some inheritance soon, methinks a TTS is in my future!
ОтветитьBought a TTS Black Edition, great car and loved every minute of it. But thanks to Covid (bought in 2020) it didn't get much use so I sold it having put around 5k miles on it across 3 years. It sat in my garage, I used it on weekends and detailed it to within an inch of it's life. Almost went for a TTRS except the Audi dealer suggested for everyday use the TTS would be a better option - and no real-world lack of power (far from it!). Told my family to stop me from ever selling the TTS - but I did, and ended up with a diesel F-Pace which turned out to also be pretty quick and I did need space for 4 .... Sold the TTS in less than an hour after putting it up for sale - low mileage, FAudiSH, immaculate .... (still upset!).
ОтветитьI love the mk3 but would not part with my mk2 3.2. Simply superb. Great video. Thanks
ОтветитьHad my MkII 59 plate for a couple of years. 2L petrol TFSI remapped and it's such a good car for the money. I can get where I need to and out of sticky situations quickly, it drives nice for weekends away. And with the seats down it fits all my music equipment in there on a weekly basis. Solid, reliable and fun for not a lot of buck. I'll probably run it for a few more years for sure.
ОтветитьI've just moved from a M240i to a mk2 tts, love the car, a lot of fun to drive. It's absolutely planted with the Quattro system, 100% confident in it if having a spirited drive in any conditions. Picked up a '62 plate with 70k miles for 9.5k which is an absolute bargain. I highly recommend you consider one if looking for a daily sports car. I think my next move would be into the mk3.
ОтветитьTax £200... that's not quite right bud.. I owned a TTS exactly the same color & spec cost £500 a year tax due to car being over 40k when new... which one has to expect with such a car..🙂
ОтветитьAs usual you are bang on the money here, fantastic underrated awesomeness........ but at £25 to £30k you are in 997.2 territory....... and then the choice gets a little harder, although that money will undoubtedly buy you a much later TTS than it will the Porsche 😮
ОтветитьGood review. Only knobs think TTs are hairdressers' cars. Disagree about the lack of screen. One of the reasons I like the TT is the absence of an ipad stuck to the dash.
ОтветитьJust think, The Japanese car tuner Top Secret, built a Nissan 200 SX, it had a 2.0 lt Turbo engine, it produced 800 hp, from a 2.0 lt, outstanding, it also topped 200 mph, what more would you need, Drive safe.
Ответитьwhich blue is it ?
ОтветитьJust got myself a TT RS and it is a beast 😂. Good review, these cars are amazing fun.
ОтветитьI got a 2016 TTS on Monday past, it’s great I’m well happy with it.
ОтветитьThat's a brilliant video Matt. Watching that and comparing it to my 2002 TT, it's incredible how much they've moved on. I really want one 👍
ОтветитьGreat review
Ответитьspacious at the back if you are a foetus 😂😂
ОтветитьHi all, abit of a late comment here
I’m thinking of buying one of these? I’ve read all the comments, just wondered what these are like as a daily?
I’m thinking of adding road trips to my calendar, would this be a good choice?
And lastly has anyone encountered any gremlins/faults worth mentioning?
Much appreciated, Oliver.
