SNES is the winner for me. The Megadrive isn't far behind, but there's something about the parallax scrolling of the sky which I'm not sure about. I never had this game, but as an ST owner at the time, it's very disappointing to see how poor the Atari version was. The ST was capable of better and by 1992 they should have been taking advantage of the improved sound and scrolling of the STE. Sadly the days of the ST were numbered and it could just be that the developers didn't want to put the effort in.

The SEGA/MEGA CD version remains the best one by a far margin. The CD quality OST and the "extra" content (not shown here, but present throughout the game) makes it the definitive version of this game.

Amiga and Sega work hand in hand on games to make the best ports as close as possible. But genesis lacked that sound ummph.

Can't decide between the Sega 16- bits or the snes version.... The snes is more impressive, but I like the HUD better on the Genesis/CD.
Surprised at how competent the SMS version is.
I always wondered how many people bought these spruced up versions of Amiga games.

When you realize that Wolf Child and Altered Beast use the same sample for when the character goes beastmode

I swear, that's the same howl from Altered Beast but shortened.

Horrible colour palette - particularly on the Amiga and Atari ST. Amiga version has nice, smooth parallax scrolling - the ST version is very jerky, though. Overall, I prefer the look of the Master System, for some reason.

Sega Genesis/Mega-Drive/SNES version is a joke at 1 MB or 8 Mbits (megabits) i would’ve used a bigger (larger) cartridge 9, 10, 11, 12 Mbits (megabits)
