I don't believe she is like a dog at all. If I'm upset both of my younger cats stay right by my side and try very hard to show they care my dog doesn't.

I used to have a cat named Zoey that looked like that and had a loud purr. She died of renal failure five years ago, and I miss her purr. I would miss her purr so bad I’d find web pages that had cats purring 😂😂😂😂😂. They are the most loving animals, when one picks you, it’s a complement.😅

My Cat Andy and I are celebrating our first year since I got my purr box 15 lb. kitty from the shelter.....he too is a little older and I thank God everyday for him as a companion. Nice story!

Kudos to this couple. MK is a gem! I never ever give my cats pills. After getting one stuck in my throat, I realized it was torture. I insist on liquid meds and if not available at the vet, they write me a prescription to have it made soluble at a compounding pharmacy. One time the pharmacy just let me bring in the pills and they made them into a solution. It might cost more but your pet will thank you and it won't want to die every time you shove a pill down its throat.

What a great story. My Billie (same breed) was a rescue, and he was very comforting to me through a difficult time.

To be chosen by a cat is one of the best things in life. I'm writing this with my soul cat in my lap. During my recovery from open heart surgery she never left my side. Her presence greatly helped. She is going strong at 20yrs. She likes to wake me up by licking my eye lid. This hurts btw.

cats LOVE a drop of CBD oil for depression and a drop of THCA (not THC) for anxiety in the water bowl once a week. A light dusting of ground up magic mushrooms on dry cat food once a month improves brain and mood even more for cats. We live in their world not the other way around.

About 7 years ago I found a crippled cat living under a piece of plywood, only getting the crumbs that the other cats left. When I took him inside he did the same thing as MK and rarely left my room! It was probably the first time he felt safe & protected in years! He went to kitty having two years ago, & passed away in my arms! But I wouldn't trade those five years in for anything, we both needed each other then!
