The GROTESQUE Story of Kuon

A couple of things!
- The European Translation of Kuon and its documents were a bit iffy, so some documents named Miyoshimaru as the Fujiwara's son, when actually, he was the servant boy.
- Abe No Seimei was actually (supposedly) male. Whereas in this game, Abe No Seimei is female. Some thought that Abe No Seimei was not entirely human, either.

ALSO: Easter Egg somewhere in this video. Clue as to what the next video will be.

Hashizoroe, the lullaby from the game, is deeply haunting. It's so simple, yet it exudes an overwhelming sense of horror. Kuon is a game I'll never forget. By the way, there's a texture pack for emulation that breathes new life into it.

I glad that I played it first hand... when I was a kid... gonna play again...

How come Lady Fujiwara saw her son Miyoshimaru and ate him. Then later you found his own note saying that he saw her eating her son (who should be him). Does she have another that she ate before that then he decided to come and feed his mother later

Probably should have pointed out early on silkworms eat mulberry so people understand some of the symbolism. And maybe give the definition of Kuon as nine grudges/eternity. These are kinda important when giving a rundown of the story.

We need anoother survival horror made by fromsoft, they proved possible for them to do creepy atmospheres and unsettling imagery, bloodborne had a lot f survival horror mechanics but if they tone down a little bit on the combat and keep their level design focusing on backtracking and interconnected areas with limited resources they can make a masterpiece, the best survival horror of all time, i don't think they want to intentionaly worsen their combat gameplay which is why they are so acclaimed in the first place.
I really think that if they put resources and talent behind it they can make a masterpiece, they have already done it before and they can do it again no doubt.
Now that they are finished with Dark Souls and Elden Ring we can only hope.

Is it just me or people in games? Look more and more horrible with the technology of today, when you have games like this with them looking so much better...
