For anyone who isn't going to overclock, what are the first things to do after completing a Ryzen 3600 build?

i have an i3 7100 and struglin playin PUBG...any one of those would be a welcome upgrade for me...

i get 60+ fps in battlefield 5 using ray tracing with a msi gaming z rtx 2070 in 2k, so i think rtx is worth buying right now.

I got myself 2600x to replace 1200. Though cpu is great. In mini itx case it runs warmer and the noise increase is felt. Nothing destroy the experience. Though that's why if I'm building something small and quite I would research the noise of cpu fans and also get 65 vs. 95 w.

Lol rx 5700 sapphire pulse costs 35k and rtx 2060 27k.rtx 2060 super 32k. Its bad in my country

Pretty sure Nvidia chips do draw almost as much power, but they advertise a lower power state power draw (rather than maximum state power draw).

ryzen 5 3500 could be a good upgrade for me from ryzen 5 1600, ryzen 5 2600 would make no difference, ryzen 5 3600 is too expensive

For $150 I could get 9400f here in my country, I'm not sure why would anyone go for R5 3500 instead of 9400f or just pay more for a 3600.

I believe the 2080 ti was very close to the pinnacle of current technologies of the day and will continue to be until some whole new architecture comes along.

I am a cheap gamer, I have always used second hand parts to make PC's.

My current build is a z170, i5 6600, RX 480, VS450, 16gb of ram, 120gb SSD and 2x 500gb HDDs.

This thing cost me around £250 to build.
I guess my point is to always look for second hand parts, always something good to be had.

The AsRock RX590 Phantom Gaming U has a TB3 on the PCB. Not X card but the U card. Kinda cool I guess. The U card also has rgb when their other 2 RX590's do not

You can mod Minecraft to render ray tracing with a Navi GPU (any GPU). Performance is quite nice. I think because AMD are already waist deep in a-sync compute, they can enable RT without much of an effort really.

My big question, if the next generation of consoles are going to be so reliant on its "next gen" ssd to provide that "next gen" experience. What is your thoughts on the probability of storage expansion and how much do you speculate that it could cost the consumer

Also about DDR5, when a "new" spec memory comes out first sticks in the market are not usually better compared to the mid to high range sticks from the old spec (DDR4 in this case) so is usually a good idea to wait till the new tech gets a bit more mature.
