Excellent instruction. Well done.
ОтветитьMy buddy and I, both just started golfing. Made the not so wise decision to hit a premium golf course in the Toronto area….got paired up with 2 sweet old ladies and got an earful from them for the full 18. They were a hoot.
ОтветитьThank you for this videos!
ОтветитьSimpler. Stop trying GIR if you can't. Play bogey golf. That's 88-90 depending on course. You'll have pars and can spare a double here and there.
ОтветитьWhat does breaking 90 mean? playing 18 holes in under 90 strokes?
ОтветитьRick I have never shot over 90 lol,
ОтветитьSo you're telling me i'm NOT supposed to hit my 3 iron out of a bunker thats 230 away from the green? Interesting.
ОтветитьHey Rick i started playing golf on Father's day (roughly 6 weeks ago) and have played a round a week and go to the driving range once a week, and from your videos and practice I went from my first round shooting a 127, to today I shot an 88! Thanks for the tips and help, especially with the fix your slice video😂
ОтветитьThese arre gonna help me for sure. Thax mane
ОтветитьJust played for the first time in 15 years. New clubs.. shot a 92. Lol.
ОтветитьThis was the best golf instruction video I have ever watched…I’m playing again Thursday…I am super psyched…thank you!
ОтветитьKeep score. I have found that I end up shooting some of my best golf when I keep score.
ОтветитьThanks for this and other similar videos. It’s slow progress but smarter play has gotten me a couple of 89s this summer and a 42 on the back 9 yesterday (don’t ask about the front). Keep up the great work Rick and team.
Ответитьwaddaplaya
ОтветитьGreat tips, easy to forget the basic smart plays.
ОтветитьI'm a pro at getting triples. its like my spirit animal.
ОтветитьI’m here after watching the how to break 100 video and did it for the first time the other day with a 97. Obviously need to get consistent at going below 100 but here to keep half an eye on the future. Thanks Rick
ОтветитьI bet you I won’t!😂
ОтветитьGreat tips! Rick always explains everything very well, so everyone understands it.
ОтветитьMy best round of 9 holes ever got 89!
ОтветитьI played competative golf when I was 10-16 then got into other sports and took a ~15 year break from serious play. I'm trying to return to the game now and have found your content to be great refreshers for a lot of the lessons I had as a kid.
ОтветитьGreat advice Rick 😊
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьI break 90 all the time. In fact, I usually break 100!
ОтветитьAim for close enough, best forget the masterful shots à la Tiger, think loft and grip ... that is a combo I can probably handle! Very clear explanations Rick, merci !
ОтветитьDamn. Guys at my pro shop just showed me the 8 iron chipping technique last week. I can par holes now 😂👍 thanks for these instructions. priceless.
ОтветитьHoly crap, it worked in under a month. I shot an 86 yesterday, never having broken the 90 barrier before. Thanks, Rick.
ОтветитьGreat tips Rick. Love your teaching style and appreciate your allowing us to get inside your golf thinking process. I am a 7 handicap and found your tips very useful. Especially about taking one’s medicine and not trying hero shots. Who knows I might even be able to get down to a five or six using your tips. Thanks for your channel. I really enjoy watching.
ОтветитьI do all of this, work my back off every single day and strike it well, cant shoot below 90 to save my life, ive watched every guide and done all of them and it still jjst doesnt happen. I dont get it!
ОтветитьThank You Rick. I’ve been watching this video and breaking 85 video as I have been caddying my daughter. She shot another 85 today to qualify to play the next level. Thank You
ОтветитьThe misleading thumbnail is so fucking annoying
ОтветитьThank you! First time I got the first 9 under 90 with your help. 😊
ОтветитьThank you Rick for reminding me about how important golf course management comes into play while playing a round. You Rock!
ОтветитьI shot a 96 the second time I ever played, haven’t broke 100 since
ОтветитьAttitude is key, never get mad
Keep score by presuming a 5 (5×18=90) on every hole, you start even, if you get a par on a par 4 then minus 1, if on the next hole you double bogey a par 4 then your even. This takes your mind off that 90 number
Going to focus on these in my next round!! Thank you for giving me some things to think about! Great video, Rick!!
ОтветитьBRB gotta break 100 first
ОтветитьThanks Rick its a goal for me to break 90 best so far 97. Also saw your pain in recent break 75 series, i think it shows to us higher handicappers that even very good golfers struggle at times.
ОтветитьThank you Rick,
Today for the first time I broke 90 . I have been playing for the last 10 years. Just went for the tournament after watching this video. Kept reminding myself of the tips throughout for the entire game. And the results were amazing ultimately.
If you want to read the Gospel then I will put something like that in my replies, but if you read that then you should still read the complete Gospel. I put this because in Acts 1:8 it says “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” so I put this to do what The Lord says. If you read it then like the comment so that more people can see it, and more people have at least one opportunity, because accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the most important decision that you will ever make.
ОтветитьWhere do you reside? I invite you to a round
ОтветитьI’ll never forget watching this video and finding the bump and run eagled with it next time I golfed!!
ОтветитьHow to break 90. Quit playing for birdie and start playing for par. Your 300 yard drive into the woods is much worse than 250 on the fairway
ОтветитьThis was great video. Really picked up some good advice. My goal this year to break 95!!!⛳️
ОтветитьJLY
ОтветитьHey man, I've seen 2 inches. That is definitely less
ОтветитьIf I could only hit my driver then I would be playing decent golf. My chipping and putting is above average.
ОтветитьWhaaaaat did he say,,,I had a birdie at two there, and a partridge on the par three
ОтветитьI'm 64 yrs old. Used to regularly shoot in the low to mid 80s, life got in the way and only recently have I been able to take up golf again, now in the Age of Never. I Never used to have this elbow pain. I Never used to be so sore in that shoulder. It Never used to bother me to walk uphill like this. Now I wonder, will I Ever break 90 again? Getting old ain't for sissies!
