V6 mustangs are for women.
ОтветитьV6 Mustangs are great but they have one flaw that I can’t get past…they are missing 2 cylinders
ОтветитьYes but the sound though...
ОтветитьNot as heavy will take a corner better.
ОтветитьThe eco boost 4cyl is the base performer.
ОтветитьI had a new 2013 v6 and loved it.
ОтветитьI agree. I've had numerous sports cars over the years (two Porsche's - 911, 928, BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK) and a couple of Mustang GT's. I recently purchased an old 2012 Mustang V6 manual and really like it! Hell, love it! You definitely notice the lower weight in the front end compared to the GT's. It feels nimble and quick to respond, and has a very nice sound to it, kind of German. Sounds more like a sports car than a muscle car. Good fun for cheap. Good fuel economy too.
ОтветитьMy 2013 looks exactly like yours. Agree with all of your comments. Still love it. Plenty of power and steady as a rock.
ОтветитьLooking to buy my first mustang … this video confirm my decision .. 3.7 v6 is the one !
Next decision : coupe or convertible ?😎
American car manufacturers never really did seem to take V6s seriously as a performance option. Sadly, the majority of V6 owners think they're driving a hopped up GT, and these guys end up embarassing the rest of us [full disclosure, 2019 GT PP1 owner] I think the biggest problem lies in: If you have enough money to seriously mod a V6... you're just going to buy a V8. If you can't afford a V8, where are you going to get all the money for all these wonderful toys you want? And if that's what you've got, and you love it: OWN IT. The only opinion that really matters is yours anyway 🙃
ОтветитьI bought one of the 1st V6 Performance package mustangs when the 1st came out and I stupidly sold it and I have been saying for years now....mustangs have gotten too fat and feel like crap heck id buy a newer 4 cyl Hipo before buying another GT.
ОтветитьThankfully, people are starting to wake up about him, awesome. 💙💙
ОтветитьI’m I supposed to cry after watching
ОтветитьBest car I've ever had and I've had a lot of hotrods, foxbodys, sn95's supercharged and all. My 2013 I had procharged with a high stall converter 6r80 and 3.73's . Best running car ever. Just love the 3.7's
ОтветитьHaha, man... you kids are silly.
ОтветитьGraham, you make some excellent points about the Cyclone 3.7L V6 Mustangs. I agree with you. My wife and I purchased a 2012 Mustang Premium V6 Convertible 5 months ago and absolutely love it. We also drove multiple 4.6L and 5.0L V8 5th generation mustangs. The 5.0L Coyote V8 is certainly the king. Let there be no doubts about that. But my wife and I agreed that much power would either get us in trouble or be hard to enjoy on a daily driver basis with traffic. We previously owned a 2002 Mustang 3.8 V6 Premium. The Cyclone 3.7L V6 is light years ahead of the old 3.8L V6. The 3.8L V6 had some torque but not much else and didn’t get great mileage. The Cyclone 3.7L V6 is a real gem and that is coming from an owner of many imports (First generation Mazda RX-7’s, 3rd generation Toyota Supra, Nissan 200SX SE-R, Acura 3.0CL, and an Acura 3.2CL).
ОтветитьYou really can't be serious, a mustang? With a V-6? Yeah, if your a sick azz, soy boy, millennial, or X . You probably have trouble changing a tire, let alone, repair it on the side of the road.
ОтветитьDo you ever remember trying to use a feeler gauge that you carried on your keychain to gap spark plugs, for a 69 Chevrolet Chevelle?
ОтветитьOh, that's a V-8,? I don't know ANYTHING, about a 396 big block, and what's a torque converter? I bet you wipe your butt before you take a dump too didn't you?
ОтветитьThis video is very straight to the point . I love your point of view men about the v6
ОтветитьI love my 2014 3.7v6.....good car what can i say.....if you are thinking about getting one.....do it you won't be disappointed 👍👍
ОтветитьIt’s an affordable g35/g37 but I’m saying this now and a year or 2 from now the prices are gonna go up just for the v6
ОтветитьThat engine is a Fk’n nightmare. Timing chain in rear…pull the engine. I had mine rebuilt since it was coming out. Ford wanted to know why I was having it rebuilt. They said it was a throw away engine.
Fk Ford
I have a 2005 V6 mustang and i like it better than the V8 GT !!!
ОтветитьI definitely agree 👍🏻
ОтветитьI bought a F-150 with that 3.7L and I find it really powerful. Buying a used V6 Mustang would be a better value in my opinion because you would assume the 5.0L was beaten to death.
ОтветитьI think its interesting that you noticed the difference in weight distribution. I think thats one of the biggest and most overlooked benefits of the V6. Love my 2012. I think I will look in to modifying it.
ОтветитьWhat type of rims are those??
ОтветитьIm thinking of purchasing one at 190,000 miles for $8500 and it runs phenomenal. Never had a car with that mileage though so I’m a bit nervous. Can anyone give their opinion on this? Has a few slight mods but nothing major
ОтветитьGuys, I'm probably much older almost anyone that would watch this video (57). Get a V6 and use the rest of the V8 money to open a Roth IRA. Use the money you'll save on gas to fund your Roth IRA. By the time you're 59 1/2 (when the Roth IRA matures) you'll have enough money to retire AND by a truly, high end car. I'm getting 27mpg out of '11. My '06 GT gets 21.5mpg if I granny it and my Camaro V6 gets like 27mpg (and it's a better car than both Mustangs but that's besides the point). 3.7, V6 Mustangs are great option.
ОтветитьGot an absolute steal by buying a 2017 V6 Mustang in pristine condition with only $44,000 miles ! love daily driving it with it's perfect balance of power and good looks.
ОтветитьI have a 2013 Mustang convertible. As I also have the V6 engine in mine, I also share your opinion. No matter which engine you have in your Mustang it’s still better than no Mustang at all.
ОтветитьIn v6 muscle cars, absolutely s197 v6s are the best
ОтветитьI was the kid who always thought, oh I want a V8, big thumpy loud car, fun to drive and you can hear it. Now I'm a bit older and looking at my first "expensive" car.. and I start looking at V6s because I've drive enough V8s to know that gas mileage is awful and the amount of money I've spent over the years on just gas at 4 - 5 dollars a gallon, yeah no.. not worth it unless its my backup car. These model year v6 mustangs are dope as hell, fun to drive and still have great power.
ОтветитьI have the 5.0 GT Coyote engine. I think the 300 horsepower V6 is plenty enough power and of course it is a true Mustang. All of the Mustang motors are awesome.
ОтветитьI just bought a 2012 V6 manual w/50k miles. Spirited daily driver. Love it!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьIm looking at a v6 right now, really need this car.
ОтветитьHave had mine 13 years over 200 thousand miles.
ОтветитьI got my v6 mustang 2014 before the pandemic i still have it and love my pony car...
ОтветитьJust bought a v6 2013 with the Pony Pack! 13k miles and I paid 16 grand for it. Fucking drives like it’s brand new. No accidents. Chrome plated wheels, and it’s a convertible to boot in this Florida sun. I beat a challenger off the line the other night and put some real distance between us before he finally caught up at the next red light. Fuck dodge. Fuck Chevy. Long live ford.
ОтветитьBetter for daily driving- sure
Better for a car enthusiasts- no
Just got a 2012 in grabber blue..
ОтветитьBrother, you are the biggest Ford Mustang V6 champion in the entire English-speaking world. It really seems like you do a new V6 review every 2-3 years just to remind us.
Ответитьi can respect the numbers v6's are putting up these days. going back, to the older mustangs, the i6's have been basically gutless yet reliable workhorse motors. Australia fell in love with these and are the only ones to build these motors up. the 300ci i6 they used in the trucks was based off the 200 in the mustangs and it was a bit torquier, ultra reliable. half a million mile engines easy, but they just didn't have the power of the V8s. If you look at Ford in Australia, the Barra is the 6 cylinder ford COULD HAVE made if they expanded down this inline 6 route. They made one amazing engine with the Barra but it never found its way into a Mustang.
The thing is though, V8 engines are synonymous with ford. Even from the beginning. Ford and V8, America and Apple pie. They just go together... When the mustangs switched over to V6's for the base models, they were also pretty gutless, V6 accords could smoke them easy. I can respect that V6's now have the power of stock previous generation GT V8s, with better fuel economy, better weight distribution, and an all around better driving experience. Japanese cars in that span of time i mentioned have proven just how amazing 6 cylinder engines can be. The RB from nissan, the JZ from toyota, Honda VTEC V6 in the NSX... All those engines and cars are universally beloved by their fans. It's funny that we can't seem to get that same kind of love from American 6 cylinders. It's just a completely different car culture. America is all about the muscle car, but you can see that is slowly changing... The new pony/muscle cars from the big 3 are looking more like GT touring cars than American Muscle. I think it's time for the paradigm to shift, where smaller, higher reving, less displacement engines can be made extremely fun behind the right chassis and driver.
What year is that?
ОтветитьAre those seat covers or whole seats? They look amazing.
ОтветитьGreat video. I'm getting mine tomorrow. I found a 2014 V6 3.7 with 34k original miles on it. Impecable. It's been babied 🎉
ОтветитьIt's in the Shitbox Category!!
Ответитьi have base 2012 but everything is wrong with. i need a speaker setup
Ответить
