That some bullshit there, they changed because their label recommended to change their look because of the new metal bands at that time and for the marketing season, they are back looking at the 80's now.
ОтветитьWhos Bob? 🙂
ОтветитьIt wasn't about their haircuts, it was about the awful music they made after AJFA!
ОтветитьDarn would i love to ask to why he brought back the ride cymbal.
ОтветитьOther extreme metal should follow Metallica footstep.Make difference music from each album. That what makes a good musician.
Ответитьjames hetfield so great in metallica !!!!
ОтветитьThe fact that they got called sell outs for cutting their hair was the dumbest complaint of all.

ОтветитьPure shit
ОтветитьAs far as the music, Cliff Burton would have been totally in to playing this stuff. He probably would have predated the rest of the band on the softer more mainstream music. But as far as cutting hair, eyeliner, etc. I just can't see him doing it.
Ответитьakward moment with Kirk wanting to play Colombia "for obvious reasons.." 😅
ОтветитьWhen lars said "uhhmm" i felt that
ОтветитьWait, Kirk was talking about a gibson that won’t stay in tune?? I’m shocked
ОтветитьI came into Metallica with reload in 97/98. That is still one of my faves and I love this era but I can totally get the freak out if you had been filling them since 84.
ОтветитьTo those who say Load and ReLoad haven't stood the test of time, you clearly don't understand Metallica because the sound has been revisited on their latest two albums, along with the fact that Fixxer had its live debut very recently.
ОтветитьCliff was spinning so fucking fast in his grave at this point. You gotta remember, back in the mid 80's, Connie Burton, Cliffs sister took him out one day to get a different wardrobe to wear besides the bell bottoms and the denim jackets and Cliff absolutely refused to change the way he looked. It would've been no fucking different during this period. Sure Cliff was interested in all kinds of music and what not, but to take it this far with the eyeliner and other assorted makeup and the overall look and feel I. General, Cliff would've left the band. I started listening to Metallica in '87 when I was 6, by the time they did the black album I could barely digest that shit, Load of shit 1 and 2 was too much. They could deny all they wanted about selling out or not, but they did and that's a fact.their putting down a band like Poison when their shit looks so much gayer. And I don't doubt for a second that Lars and Kirk we're sucking each other off and fagging out with each other. This whole period of Metallica was sad and depressing and makes me fucking sick to my stomach.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE who liked this period of Metallica were absolutely delusional. So much so that it's a fucking crime beyond belief.
When Metallica was so grunge 👌👌👌
ОтветитьI'm so glad it grew back the poor Lars Lost his
ОтветитьYeah we love Kirk hair
Ответить00;20 - a room full of hipsters. no wonder no one told them it was shit.
ОтветитьOne thing I fucking hate with Metallica is when metal fans interact with music fans
ОтветитьFunny how people thought they were so different in 1996 but they dont realize, especially now that this was literally only 13 years after Kill em All came out so far more time has happened from 1996 to today in 2023. 1996 Metallica is closer to 1986 Metallica than todays Metallica, they may have gone on a musical journey but they were still the same goofy guys. It's clear from this interview
ОтветитьLars says metal is stagnant and boring meanwhile so many metal innovators were tearing up the underground. Smh.
ОтветитьSTILL LOVE THESE GUYS AND MISSED THIS '90'S ERA OF METALLICA!!!🤜🤛😊😎🎸🎶🤘🥁🎼🔥👊
ОтветитьJames was hating Jason during the whole interview.
Ответить"We'll probably play Colombia, for obvious reasons" LMAO
Ответитьjames is a god
ОтветитьColombia for obvious reasons
ОтветитьLoad of shit 1 and 2. Bought both albums at least 10 times just to burn and destroy them. Oh how the millions changed everything! Rest In Shit, Load era Metallicrap!
ОтветитьThis album was disappointing to me I was hoping for another black album or returning to their trash roots or a mixture of both and they did neither
ОтветитьExactly. True artists. Why the hell would I want to listen to an album that sounds just like other ones. ?
ОтветитьI always find Newstead annoying as hell.
ОтветитьJason needs to hear the lyrics for the song he wrote again "they say the empty can rattles the most"
ОтветитьEhh load would’ve been better as 1 album and was always disappointed w how they followed up black w these
Ответитьloved the Load albums....the only problem is they dropped the worst song on both albums to start this era...not a fan of Until it Sleeps.
ОтветитьThey are just super rich at this point and don't care about anything. The proved they could put out 3 terrible albums in a row and still be the biggest touring band. Now this is important, how many songs do they perform live off Load/Reload/St. Anger?? Not many, most of the songs come off the first 5.
ОтветитьLoadtallica.
ОтветитьI love load and re-load. Nobody ever talks about how amazing the tour was during that time 1995 to about 1997. Those live shows were incredible I was lucky to see one. Everybody wants to dog the albums but nobody can argue with a live shows during that time.
Ответитьfunny that they talk about hair yet in recent years, Lars is embarrassed by his baldness so he wears a hat everywhere (he's said so himself).
ОтветитьFor me as a fan, i love the "And Justice" and "Load" record. I always wanna to defend the laod/reload records, i know that maybe 26/25 years after a lot of people who grow up with the Master or Kill Em All or whatever hate Metallica during 96/99. I was born in 98, but for me as a fan since i was a kid i recognize with all the letters how Metallica dont want to repeat themselves after the Black Album, it happens with every band. They can't put another record like Master/Ride/Justice. Things change, and for me i always open to changes when it comes to music. Obviously I don't like all the changes that many bands do, but i always have this anxiety to see what the next record sounds like and it's fine for me. If i was a teenager during 96/99 i will go to any Metallica gig, really. Ps: My favorite song of the Load record is The House That Jack Bulit 🤘
ОтветитьTo me this is something that most people will never see from Metallica from 1996.
ОтветитьThis is a very unpopular opinion, but Load ended up turning into my favourite album by these guys, in the past it used to be And Justice, and for it still remains as my favourite thrash album overall, but over the years I feel I've been connecting with the music and lyrics from Load/Reload far more than any of the early stuff
ОтветитьIf you don't start at least bobbing your head with 2 X 4, then there's something wrong with you. That song has a fantastic groove to it!
ОтветитьIt’s just fuckin hair!! Yeah right James 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI don’t get the hate on Jason in this interview lmao At this point he was probably tired of speaking only when spoken to. especially with all 4 of them in the same room
ОтветитьIt's kinda sad that they had to explaining their own decision which was cutting the hair off.
