How did you make the fur fade away on the strawberry at the start??
ОтветитьThis is all Making me feel disillusioned
ОтветитьWell done!
Ответитьhey I tried following your last instructions with the skeleton model, but I added a Musgrave Texture and a Voronoi Texture and now the fuzz doesn't pick up the correct color. Is there a reason for that? great video though
ОтветитьRight before they released the new hair functions in blender :(
ОтветитьThanks for this. This is my intro to geometry nodes. Question: Which value node did you delete when you plugged in the switch node?
Other question:
1 Why does the hair randomly disappear, requiring one to start over? You will ask what I was doing when the hair disappeared. I don't know, it happened three different times, at different points in the tutorial.
ALSO After four tries, I got the hair to not disappear, but then they became big fat cones. If this happens, some folks may need to set the curve circle radius very small. I used 0.0005. Hope that is useful to someone.
does any one know how to save nodes as assets
ОтветитьDo you have a video where you go into more depth on why each thing you did caused the result it did or why it was necessary to do? It was a very interesting tutorial, but I couldn't understand why you did certain things. I'm not very educated in procedural matters; I'm more trained in from-scratch texture mapping.
ОтветитьCool tutorial! I couldn't figure out how to enable the "instance index" box but I just put in the instances separately and it worked out fine ! Very organic and easy thank you so much :)
ОтветитьCan you PLEASE do a tut on how you got the fish to animate so smoothly like that? I can't grasp how to do it. Using curves for movement? Using displacement modifiers for fishy waves? Using geometry nodes for it all??? PLEASE, HOW
Ответитьmy favorite parte is when the computer guy plugs the dabble into the goochie-plapper and it multiplies the blaka doomble by adding more value inside the zazzlebimble and it makes the fish hairy
ОтветитьThis would make a really cool video game idea
ОтветитьFurries watching this:
ОтветитьWhat wonderful creativity✔🔝
Ответитьwhy is this so hard to replicate, I have tried it numours ogf times but It hasn't work as this shows has Blender updated since this Video was released?
ОтветитьImagine this but 3d printable
Ответитьidk about yall but my blender is lagging so hard while doing this with a rtx3080 86gb RAM and a top tier motherboard/cpu.
ОтветитьI somehow found this by accident but I love it even if I will never use it
ОтветитьIs this method still faster than hair in 3.5? Good video, congrats
Ответитьblaah always its not realtime
Ответитьand if ur object has two material?
Ответитьgraciaaas
ОтветитьVery cool.
ОтветитьThank you for this video, so much, it helped me a lot with overall learning geo nodes and stuff, made a cool little dust system with it :>
ОтветитьJust wondered, i have model which i want to have fuzz in one area but not in one part. is there a way to use vertex groups to keep the geometry nodes adding curves to that area? This is so the fur doesnt overlap with the model and cause it to look weird.
ОтветитьThis temporal jumps makes harder to follow the steps.
Ответитьmy PC exploded
Ответитьdude are you using window xp ?
ОтветитьI made grass instead of hair. I dare to be different. Thanks, I just learned a lot. :)
Ответитьa year in blender and I didn't know you had to press c to create a collection in blender, felt so stupid, nice tutorial btw
ОтветитьIt was very complicated, I really couldn’t go further than the fifth minute
Ответитьbeside the video, thanks for that, site you downloaded the scan was really useful to me.
ОтветитьThat strawberry killed me xD
Ответитьim never gonna use this but im still watching!! ^^
ОтветитьCan someone help me? I'm trying this in the Blender 4.02 version and there it's not working to link the hairtypes (0 to 3). It's just showing the first type of hair. Also when I group the node, the content is identical with what is shown in the video, but the "grouped node" looks different and doesn't have the Density parameter f.e. I'm really sad at that point because this aughta be cool ... can someone help me? <3
ОтветитьWhere do I plug in the Switch to?
ОтветитьCan you make a tutorial on how to create a blanket like shader like the oddbods characters had on their clothes by using geometry nodes???
Make it if you can. Cheers
Great tutorial! even if it has been superseded by the hair nodes. :) I'm following along anyway, just to get the concepts involved, and I'm unsure how the deformation fix works. How does the UV map help? and what does the Split Edges node do? I have had issues with instances flickering before (using distribute points on faces), and this might might solve those problems.
Ответитьthanks very much ...very nice tutorial
Ответитьrendering is not working. the computer is crashing. what could be the reason?
