I've been trying Spark for 3 weeks now. Haven't accepted an order yet. They've all been terrible $ vs time／effort.

I am a customer of Walmart delivery in central Florida. I am sharing with you a very concerning shortcoming of Walmart delivery drivers - I have found that a lot of you younger drivers have no basic understanding of the four points of the compass! Finding my location requires instructions that use compass directions for reference. I put those directions in my delivery instructions on the Walmart site but I get calls and find drivers wandering my neighborhood lost because some of you don't know East from West! Why would Walmart hire drivers who do not have basic literacy? How do you graduate grade school without learning where the North pole is, and where South America is in relation to your location?? How can you not know from which direction the sun rises and sets each day?? I really am mystified by this. Not speaking good English is one thing but not having enough schooling, in any country where you grew up, to know the points of the compass??? Incomprehensible! Please explain to me how that happens. Many road signs rely on drivers knowing compass directions. There are real limits to the usefulness of GPS navigators and it seems some are staking their lives and safety and careers on the software in their GPS navigators, at the cost of fresh timely food deliveries. What should I tell my local Walmart store manager? What excuses do you smart phone addicted young people have for this?

Yes I don't drink but there are people who drink socially. Or just for holidays, celebrations like myself. I don't judge. Most of us have busy lives, but we have to watch what we say sometimes.

Im driving for Spark in the north Austin/Cedar Park area and I cant seem to get an order over $12 with tips...and they all have 2-4 stops🤔

I will not do Alcohol, I don't want the conflict. In Georgia you're not allowed to deliver to someone who is clearly intoxicated already and some people will try to fool you with Fake ID's, etc. Just not for it.

You can over & beyond and they don't care. When they are done with you. You are out!

They are also over working contractors with small to little pay, per 3 batch orders. The customers are very difficult depending on the area.

Be careful with Walmat Spark, they are deactivating people after working for them for years. Bots are also taking over.

Who's fault is it that delivery drivers decided to do this job and expect consumer should compensate for there poor choices. Not to be rude but most people would have considered the wear and tear on there vehicles, we understand that it costs to insure our vehicles and the cost to repair them and even replace them. We also do not want to share our order with the delivery driver, we do not want to be verbally abused and do not want to wait long periods of time to receive cold food. There are many employment opportunities you can make considerably more money. Our government have failed us all mismanaging resources and not even paying attention to the shortages in manpower especially for construction trade to deal with the housing supply challenge.

Do you get paid instantly with this app, or is there a waiting period process before the app pays you. Can you link your own debit card to receive funds instantly the same day you started and completed.

I notice that SPARK delivery work averages out to about $10 an hour. NOT WORTH IT

Spark is a rip off. You work more hours for the money given. The drive time, delivery time compared to the money is not worth it most of the time. Spark is my last resort.

I work at Walmart in OGP and are store cancels order if the driver takes over 30 minutes if there’s anything that is cold or frozen

I’m still waiting to be accepted in my zone area so I can continue to sign up

only a fool would deliver 300lbs of groceries for 7 or 8 dollars

Read the fine print about alcohol and its on the driver to ensure you arent giving it to a minor. And you can ask for ID. Im sure teens may try this.

When your doing deliveries can you do them whenever u get ready or are you on a weekly schedule

So with Spark, you don't go into the store and shop the items yourself? You park and the employees will have them already bagged them and load them into your vehicle?
