The original KitchenAid gear you replaced here, is partly plastic and has a small hole in it for a small pin..the iron ones I've seen online (as used in this video) havent...but seems more strong obviously.
Meaning the pin isn't necessary as long as the gear model is the same and hold in place with the snapring?
Can you use crisco to lubricate the gears? It’s good safe and was initially created to lubricate heavy machinery at high temps…just curious.
ОтветитьI have a tilt head kitchenaid and the locking mechanism no longer works. Or it stays in the lock position. Any advice?
ОтветитьGrinded the metal out, must be very old
ОтветитьHow do you remove the bottom gear attached to the shaft??? I removed the pin but the gear is not sliding out!!! Please help
ОтветитьHola le hice mantenimiento a una y cuando se le colocó el bol y el globo se balancea mucho
ОтветитьCan you post the link to where you bought the parts? I have the exact same issue and I am hoping to repair it this way.
ОтветитьGood to save it i work at whirlpool on one of many assembly lines building them
ОтветитьPlease ! Where can I get this part , it was exactly what happened with mine ? 😢
ОтветитьBruh, the grease was black, because all the metal was in it! After 1 year this grease will be as black…
ОтветитьI don’t have the confidence to fix my 2 machines. God forbid if my 2 mixers were to go out on me.
ОтветитьAmazing how you fixed it, I know some people would just throw the old one out and get another even if it costs a lot of money
