Any idea what the 'new' ASUS z790 Pro art motherboard improvements will be? I heard they are upgrading it for the intel refresh coming out soon. Will the extra power/cores/heat from the new i7-14700K require liquid cooling? I am interested in the MOBO and i7-14700k for Audio production only w/o a graphics Card. Thanks
Ответитьthere is really no excuse for buying a 7700x over a 12700kf, especially now that we know you can drop in a 14700k or 14900k in later into a z690 or such motherboard
Ответить❤ Love the content, all the content
ОтветитьA high performance PC for a inexaensive budget
ОтветитьWe need a Micro center in Washington state! We used to have Fry's but now there isn't much. Such a pain.
ОтветитьGood videos
ОтветитьI wish prices in Canada were closer to U.S prices. This PC is almost double the price here
ОтветитьI’d recommend the m27q-pro if possible for monitor. It’s overall better in every way and I’d say it’s worth the extra 20-40
ОтветитьIf I actually bought the parts would I be able to replace the sapphire radion rx with a geforce rtx 3070?
ОтветитьWhen is next giveaway coming? I need to upgrade my x58 system.
ОтветитьIn my region, the 3080 12gb is cheaper right now than 7800 xt!
You think i go team green or just wait?
I play single player and i do care about visuals a lot more than fps!
Also i want to enter 4k
.
ОтветитьI miss this series - even tho I'm not in the market to build a new PC - I still enjoy knowing what's in demand now and maybe get some tips on possible upgrades to current build
Ответитьthere are some good deals on the 12th gen intel stuff right now too.. the 12600kf is $155 and the 12700kf is $215.
ОтветитьUse tweezers and screw with confidence
ОтветитьThe price is just right.
Ответить1200$ is just the GPU
ОтветитьI don't agree that building an AMD is the best way to spend $1200 , You can build a better intel/Nvidia one that is better: Intel 13400F , Asrock Z690 Phantom motherboard, RTX 4070, Be Quiet cpu cooler, Crucial 32gb ddr5 6000 , Team Group 2tb gen 4 m.2 , phanteks G300A Ultra Fine, Gamemax Rampage 850w psu........TOTAL $1146, And these parts are a LOT higher grade....And it is faster
ОтветитьGigacrap?? NO WAY and NO THANKS!
ОтветитьHave you built anything with an intel 13600 and an AMD gpu like a 6800xt or 7700xt ?
Ответитьi have a couple sets of those same pub glasses. they're awesome no matter what you put in them.
ОтветитьThat's a good build
ОтветитьThat’s a sweet build.
ОтветитьI think this is THE sweet spot for a current build. Good job Paul!
ОтветитьReally hope they open a store in/near Knoxville Tennessee
ОтветитьLove the pricing of teamgroup ssds and ram
ОтветитьI just finished building my first PC, went with a 5800x3d, 7800xt sapphire pulse and its amazing. Thanks for the build guides Paul, helped me learn tons
Ответитьwhat would be a good parts list for a small form factor build?
ОтветитьRecomending gigabyte parts? the worse brand, no support, ..!!
Don't want them even for free, ..
unsubcribed, ..!!
Nice parts list Paul as always🤤! Unfortunately this same build cost twice as much in my country Algeria (north Africa) due to taxes and shenanigans😭😭
Ответитьi would buy a used 5yrs old pc for $200 and just use the rest for a new video card lol
Ответитьmb
ОтветитьPlease show the best PC for $1k or less 🙏 Thanks Paul!
ОтветитьJust picked up the M34WQ a few weeks ago, it is great for productivity and gaming!
ОтветитьI upgraded my 5 gaming pcs to 7900x
Micro center has the deals
64gb ddr5 ram asus strix b650 e motherboard n the 7900x for 500$ was too good of a deal.
Is that GPU not overkill for that CPU? Would it not be bottle necked at some point?
ОтветитьI remember when $1,200 for a GPU was only for the elite. Now it's for people just trying to get 60 FPS. 🤣
ОтветитьI was looking at DDR5 memory recently. Historically, the typical speed-vs-CL for DDR4 has been about 200:1 as a reasonable starting point (which means that DDR4-3600 should start at about CL 18 by default) - or basically, if you drop the last two digits from the speed (usually 0's), the CL should be about half your speed or lower. It looks like the analogous ratio for DDR5 recently is about 60% for a good kit, ideally half or better. Currently PC Part Picker lists a 2x16GB kit of DDR5-6000 at 77 USD for CL 40, CL 36 at 85, and CL 30 at 93. If I have the financial maneuverability, I will spend the extra money on the CL30, but if I don't I'll probably still spend the extra $8 for CL36 over 40. What Paul says about EXPO profiles is applicable to XMP for Intel systems as well.
ОтветитьHi Paul, my pc is 9 yrs old, so it's time .thinking in the 2 to 3 k range for a build. I prefer Amd Cpu's, and I feel the Radeon cards are a better bang for buck. Thoughts?
ОтветитьCan we please break Paul above 1.46M subscribers? It seems to have stalled there for the longest time.
ОтветитьThings aren’t cheap these days during the ‘build back better’ term. Not many folks have an extra $1200 layin around. Have you checked out gas or grocery prices?
ОтветитьPaul, what are your thoughts on the 7700x bundle at MicroCenter?
ОтветитьLet try an itx build, amd.
ОтветитьBig ask here but one of my mate who are on Xbox is unreal what is crazy to me because of 60 fos and bad internet could I maybe get a pc for him?
Ответитьnever had the money for high end so please do a low budget build!
ОтветитьThese low-mid range builds are the perfect "one-day obtainable upgrade wishlist PC" build for me haha. Anything around the low-mid $1,000 I feel is very reasonable.
Thank you so much for all your work and charity!
budget side
ОтветитьOh well, this a very nice build, GG Paul. Anyway, I really envy the US market. In Italy, to afford a 7800xt and a 7600, you have to make too many compromises and opt for an a620 and a very budget case/psu combo. Indeed, with that budget I'm making a 6700xt build instead lol
