The target story around 28 mins hit home. I was hanging with friends after work and another friend brought a girl over and we all were getting along great and I got a little to excited and she just light tapped my shoulder and said along with a simple hand gesture “hey, you’re up here, be here” and it was such a helpful grounding thing that I tell people to just do that for me from now on. Someone said it would make them angry if someone did that to them, but not everyone can recognize when they’re being too much.

Whenever I want to kiss a date but I'm not 100% sure that shes into me i just sit there doing the duck kissy face with my eyes closed towards her until she either reciprocates or gets out of my car and never leaves never to be seen again. If she can't handle me at my kissy face then she doesn't deserve me at my best.

Glenn talking about his moodiness and effecting others resinates with me so much. I'm a moody person and have had people talk to me about how it's effected people around me, sadly it wasn't done the way Rob did it. I've now learned to deal with it much better but to hear Glenn talk so eloquently about it has made me very emotional. Great podcast, thank you. x

I almost cried myself, because sometimes all it takes is just someone who is willing to listen and understand and care. I felt that one in my heart, and i think it’s one of the very many things that makes this interview great. ❤

i must say. before it got dennis-ified, rick’s car monologue was melting my heart. as a woman, that read as interest in communicating and respecting boundaries, and nervousness because you really like the other person. what’s not to love? in a partner, it’s better to look for communication than a man who can protect you from a bear. which one of those skills is gonna come up more often? as for the kissing part— instead of a “can i kiss you?” you can say “i really want to kiss you.” it’s a bit assertive without potentially assaulting them, leaving the door open for her to confirm, deny, or maybe initiate on her own.

I skipped this episode initially because I never watched it’s always sunny. But I just started watching AP Bio and I actually enjoy it. So here I am admitting I shouldn’t have skipped this one 🤷🏼‍♂️

I walked away from my phone to brush my teeth but kept listening while Glenn was talking about not liking to be whacky. When I got back to my phone he was suddenly sitting in Rick’s chair wearing a mustache and wig. Made me feel for all the audio only listeners
