ОтветитьAntigone: "I've brought you here so nobody can hear" but I'm going to yell for basically this entire scene.🤣🤣
ОтветитьAll leaders, of all countries, should be made to watch this, including government officials. If they do not preserve life and stop these ungodly laws that they make should be put away. Yet if you all do not take heed, it will happen anyway. An ungodly man is not a leader.
ОтветитьRidiculous overacting
Ответитьsave me from this hell of english class pleeease
ОтветитьI'm getting Lynch Dune vibes and Creon is dressed like Grand Moff Tarkin. If you like nerd stuff like me and it's a part of your course requirement like me, enjoy knowing you are watching Théoden, King of Rohan give an epic delivery of death towards the end and also Robert Eddison who played the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is one of the chorus men. I thought John Shrapnel did a great job as Creon. I wish it had more horror vibes but make the most of every situation. Good luck!
Ответитьomg how is this movie so slow
ОтветитьThat poster looks like Bruce Willis...
ОтветитьWatching this for theater apprec and yeah they really dont know their lines huh
Ответить↓ MCM students :)
ОтветитьTemos versão em português?
ОтветитьThe father reminds me of communism...hes very scrict and he craves power.
ОтветитьYes, I'm guilty. I don't pretend otherwise.
Of course I heard it, how could I not? Yes, I did. Because it is your law, not the law of god. Natural justice, which is of all times and places, and numinous not material. A quality of Zeus, not of kings recognizes no such law. You are merely a man, mortal, like me. And laws that you enact cannot overturn ancient moralities or common human decency; they speak the language of eternity, and not written down, and never change. They are for today, yesterday, and all time. No one understands where they came from, but everyone recognizes their force. And no man's arrogance, or power, can make me disobey them.
I would rather suffer the disapproval and punishment of men than dishonor such ancient truths. I shall die, of course sometime, whether you make laws or not. If my death comes sooner, rather than later, I shall welcome it. My life has been misery, is misery now, and I shall be more than happy to leave it. There will be no pain, and no despair in that. And to leave my mother's son, out in the sun, UNBURIED! That would've been unendurable. I could not have worn it. Whereas this I shall endure it.
By your judgement of course I'm a fool. But my mine, the judge is the criminal not the accused.
POV: your learning this in English class

ОтветитьTraditions course of classical civilisations
ОтветитьIncredible. So many political and social lessons to learn from. I look forward to studying this further for Open University. From battle, law, politics, hypocrisy and family feuds, to loyalties true and forced. Respect for the dead, arranged marriages, human rights, human weakness, corruption, martyrdom, suicide awareness, influencers, prophesisers, and those 'enabling' egotistical behaviour. Ending on notes of wisdom, demise, and remorse. What a powerhouse of a play!
ОтветитьThought this was going to be a boring assignment for my literature class, but this was incredible
ОтветитьAppreciate the upload, cheers, but viewers should be aware that about 15 minutes has been edited out of this film, probably by a north American broadcaster.
