i just got a new one of this model, when i open the paper tray i feel like i'm forcing on it when i pull it back to open it. Is it just because it's new and not regularly opened yet? i don't pull it upwards or in any forceful/wrong way i checked that already

I accidently printed from a whole book 7x. I am trying to cancel print jobs im not so up on windows 7 and I hit the right arrow and x while shutting off. Then hold those keys and turn back on. Im not sure if I am only cancelling one copy, no copy. Im so frustrated.

can you print enevelopes on this model i've tried before a while back but could never figure it out because it wont work

Have the N402dw and it duplexes - I would not buy again had a heck of a time setting up the wireless printing. Compared to other laser cartages, these are expensive.

This printer is a piece of garbage. I talked to HP support before buying it to tell them what I needed it to do. It won't recognize envelope format from either Word or WordPerfect, second pages of documents print as garbage and the printer doesn't recognize forms put in the manual paper feed tray. Don't buy. Garbage and I can't get through to HP tech support for assistance after trying and trying and trying..............................................

I gave up on HP printers a few years ago... The last 3 printers were completely unreliable. We went to Brother, both ink jet and laser and we have been completely satisfied ever since...

I rarely print documents now. Most of my documents are stored on local NAS and cloud.

I think since Epson launched there Ecotank line of colour printers the cost benefit has swung back to the inkjet printer. Here in the uk I can get 100ml of the four ink colours for £29 ($50 approx)

This printer is garbage in my opinion, especially for that premium price! It's a ripoff and definitely not worth it!
I have a Brother HL-L2380DW (which does scanning, duplex & wifi and does all the protocols this HP does & more) and I only paid $119 CAD, which was on sale. The regular price is $129 USD on Amazon.com. I also purchase third-party toner from Amazon.ca, which costs $64.99 for a 3x Pack HIgh Yield Toner, and each toner prints about 2,600 pages.

Thought this review was 15 years old when I saw the thumbnail.

We have one of these in our shop class computer room. Refuses to work with any of the computers except one and must be connected via CAT5...

OMG, The Cost ! ?.. Just get a Brother Printer for a happy home or office..

No duplex, no WiFi, no thanks.

One of the printers I still use in my house is the HP Laserjet 1320

For the price I'm really surprised it doesn't do duplex. A feature that's really nice when printing out things like tax returns & other insanely long government forms.
