My maine coon olive takes socks put them in her water dish and carries it around the house. Always makes me laugh. Olive will sit outside your door meow and knock onbthe door. She also attracts your head and bites your hair. She also puts her food outside her bowl. She goes completely insane sometimes as in runs like the flash from room to the next and attacks you when you walk by. Shes amazing. ❤

He likes to knock things over on me or likes high places.

I love mine he’s bold lol

Or better yet I have the Christmas tree up and he’s after the ornaments and he looks around to make sure no one catches him lol I caught him and asked what he did and he keeps looking at me. 😂🙄

Hiss at the cat when they are being bad. Ive raised over a dozen litters... they stop, back up or stop crying at you. I prefer having them outside with facilities to sleep.

I have the regular plain old cats 2 of those and 1 orange tabby. They do everything you listed except the orange tabby has to wait until he gets the one brain cell shared by all orange tabbies to do his "smart" things. the rest of the time he is just a dumb a$$. they come when I call them., they sulk when they do not get their treats, yell about closed doors, and follow me everywhere except outside. they live with 4 dogs too.

All indoor door are constantly open so my MC can come into the bedroom at any time. 30 minutes before my alarm goes off the light turns on and she has learned that. when it's still dark she won't bother me. No begging for food, she's a very picky eater. Sometimes we do have indeed a poop situation, most of the time I manage to fix it with scissors. Ah yes, toys in the water. They're certainly not afraid of water, that's for sure.

My ragdoll begs for food in front of a bowl with food in it. She’s not even hungry; it’s just an attention thing. I can put a treat on top of her food, or even just stir the food around with my finger, and then she’ll take a couple bites and be happy. It’s just another contact point in the day, another way to acknowledge I care that she’s fed. It can annoy me when I’m busy making dinner, juggling a dozen tasks, and kitty’s like “what about ME?!?” while 1) I just fed her ten minutes ago, 2) she’s not really hungry, and 3) there’s food RIGHT THERE in the bowl. But I take the moment to acknowledge her and stir the food up. That’s just life with cats.

I have two tabbies and they
do many of the things your cats do. The male can get most doors open, especially where the garbage is. I was eating lunch as I watched your program .again both cats were close by. The male moved closer inch by inch and then was on my chair, seriously begging. He demands food when he is not sleeping and want some food ten minutes after he has eaten. Most of what your cats are doing is just how they are. Enjoy.😮😊😮

1. Doesn't wake me up but we leave the door open and he comes and goes through the night. 2. Is an absolute GATOR with treats. 3. Poop stuck and leaves it in the living room. Gross. Had to give him a bath twice because bum cheeks stuck together and totally took my life in my hands. 4. No counter. Ever. I don't know what he does when I'm not home. 5. OMG. Please. Just go away. Follows me everywhere and like velcro. 6. CHIPMUNK! haha totally. 7. Plays with water. Makes me crazy when trying to wash pots in the sink. He will try to carry the bubbles from dish soap around the house. 8. SO HEAVY. My leg will fall asleep. SO RELATABLE. One that mine does I don't see here is that mine gets so excited that he BITES. He's just so happy he doesn't know what to do.

I truly miss it. You have Three beautiful Maine Coons, they are your fur babies. 😺

My cats also put their toys in the water bowl and yes water gets colorful, they are a tiny calico, a tortoiseshell and a black and white one and sisters, one of them plays fetch with various toys and they all love climbing high. The Calico plays with the water faucet and follows me to the loo. Some years back I had a very fluffy white Turkish Angora called Henry, I had to give him a hygiene cut too as it was hard for him to keep that area clean otherwise. Love to hear of other cats quirks ❤️

I've had a maine coon for 7 years now and he is absolutely adorable. BIg and very affectionate.
I had issues with the "poop on the tail" thing until I changed the diet for all our cats because one of them had urinary issues caused by stress. we started them all on a "Hills prescription diet - Urinary care"... any of the variations seem to work....
As soon as we started using the new food, he stopped having "loose stools" and basically we haven't had any problems with chasing him around to clean him up for almost a year now. It is absolutely amazing...
I think it causes them to pee a bit more (and clear out their urinary tract) so the poop is firmer..... I don't really know why, but it works so well....
It's expensive.... but well worth it in my opinion.

It's all so true!!! but the mine keeps meowing the whole night throught before you let him in ))) (he can get into my room and into his room where he has everything, but the little villain wants to have the acces to every quare meter of the house)))) Max (my best furry friend) is such a manipulator )))) when he eats he throws everything around, he keeps developping his skills to jump the higher he would be able to. he's just a miracle and as you said, I love him more than life!!! he's going to be a year on the first of November. even he's a sometime el dolor en c..lo ))))) he is still my best friend and my hapiness and I've got a crazy idea why do not to have a second one))))) thanks for the video, it's just great!!!

I really think my kitten is a Maine Coon but I don’t have any information about him. He follows me, meows constantly in that high pitch voice, always wants to eat, sleeps next to or on me, and will literally climb me if I take too long preparing his kitten formula. He also occasionally steps in his poop and needs his butt wiped. But, he’s incredibly smart and over all very well behaved. He’s only a few weeks old, but I’m interested to see what he looks like when he’s a little older.

Cats don't sleep deeply or for long periods. When they wake you up, they're checking to see if their human is still alive.

My cat was a rescue kitten but he looks and acts like a MAine Coon. And like your cats, I have NEVER had a cat so FOOD DRIVEN! He is always starving and he eats his entire bowl of food in a few minutes- And he always wants MORE! But he does NOT get BM on him. He's an excellent groomer which is good because he will not let me brush him or groom him much. My cat once jumped into an open cupboard and I couldn't find him for several hours. I thought he had somehow gotten out but my daughter came over and opened a cabinet to get a glass and he jumped out at her! He's very clumsy and he has broken several dishes when he was younger. When he wants attention or food he gives me a light tap and then a hard bump, then claws come out etc .He loves to play "splashy splash" with his water too.He lays on me too and he's a BIG guy. When he walks in place on my stomach or chest it feels like I'm being squished. He actually does 8 out of the 8. I really thing he is a Maine Coon mix

The comment about your coons begging for food made me laugh because my normal house cat does that. Once a week I will give my cat tuna and for the next three days, Skizmo will do the same as your coons do, rush to the kitchen every time I am there, sit and stare at his bowl of dry cat kibble acting like it is empty and he is starving. I believe that is a cat trait, not just a coon one. I still find it hilarious when he does it, because I let him free-feed.

We have 10 cats 5 of them are either maine coon or maine coon mixed. The poo thing is my only annoyance. As for the rest we don't really get annoyed by them. All of our cats sleep in our room at different times or they will be in one of the kid's rooms. They are definitely clingy at times but we love this. As for the food, we never really fed them much human food as kittens so they don't really like much of that now. They really just eat dry cat food, which; is available at all times. As for being on the counters we just let them because its not worth pushing them off constantly. We only have one rule which not to have them on the table during dinner, but they have not really done that much since they don't seem to like human foods. Our house is a large 6 bed 3 bath, so plenty of room for them to run around and 7 people to love up on. ❤❤❤❤
