Version 4.8 is expected to come on July 17, and we’ve got a lot of information about the update from 4.8 beta leaks.

In this video, we will discuss everything we know about 4.8, which includes leaks about Alice and Durin as playable characters, a new limited-time area, new skins, the 4.8 banner and chronicle wish leaks, and a new free skin event.

Moving on to the video...

First, let’s discuss the 4.8 limited-time area. The 4.8 beta is out, and we got accurate leaks of the new limited-time area, which is called Simulanka Map. The map is fancy and based on a forest fairy tale island. It looks good and it’s something different from Teyvat. I won’t discuss the map in detail because you can find the map gameplay on Twitter.

Now, moving on to the character skins. In 4.8, reliable sources are telling us that Kirara and Nilou will get their skins, and now it’s confirmed that both are getting their skins. However, there are no leaks of a third skin, which we are expecting Wanderer to get. The Kirara skin will be free in the main event of 4.8.

Now, for the events in 4.8. As per GenshinIntel, the Summertide Scales and Tales event is coming and it will feature the free Kirara skin.

As for the other events, Bing-Bang Finchball, Light Novel Photography, and Energy Amplifier events will return in 4.8. I’m expecting changes in these events, but as of now, we don’t have detailed leaks.

That’s all about the 4.8 events. Moving on to the banners and chronicle wish of 4.8.

As of now, there’s no confirmation of the 4.8 banner from reliable sources. Emilie is confirmed in 4.8 and Nilou is getting her new skin, which makes her highly likely to be featured in the 4.8 banner since she also hasn’t had her rerun yet. We know that Hoyoverse will rerun a Fontaine character before the Natlan region, so Navia has high chances to be in the 4.8 banner. Shenhe and Kokomi also have chances to be featured in the 4.8 banner.

Now, as for the chronicle wish banner. Reliable sources expect a Liyue Region Chronicle wish in 4.8, which will feature Hu Tao, Yelan, Ganyu, and standard characters like Qiqi and Keqing. The banner might also feature Zhongli, as the rules don’t mention that archons won’t be included in the banner. But it’s just my assumption; Zhongli has high chances to be featured in the 5.0 banner.

That’s all about the 4.8 banner.

Now, let’s discuss the quests of 4.8. We will get a story quest for Emilie. It might be a spoiler, but the story will feature Emilie, Traveler, Paimon, Collei, Tighnari, and some other NPCs.

The main story quest of 4.8 will feature Traveler, Paimon, Kirara, Navia, Mona, Kaeya, Collei, Jean, Wanderer, and other NPCs. I don’t want to talk about the quest in detail as it will spoil the fun of playing.

Now, lastly, let’s discuss a small leak we got about Alice and Durin. According to GenshinIntel, Alice and Durin are expected to be playable in the future, which means in the Natlan region. I was expecting Alice to be playable, and now she’s going to be.
