Welcome back and glad you are doing much better after the car accident. Sorry that you suffered so much. AWESOME restoration and thanks for sharing! I got this truck for a birthday present back in the mid-60's when I was around 10 and it still is in mint condition in its original yellow color and I wonder what it is worth. I have it stored in a box in the garage. I don't think I ever played with it outside.

Hi, would you please make a video showing all the Tonka toys you've restored? I would love to see them. Do you have them displayed?

It fills me with joy to see him rescue these fantastic toys. I always wanted Tonka trucks but never received one. Lots of barbies but no trucks. My Florida cousin had lots of them and i loved playing with them.

Got into watching your videos not to long ago. I have questions.. where do the newly restored go do you have a shelf with all of them on it. And the waiting to be restored at the beginning is that all the ones you have? What happens when you get down to the last one in the pile? I wonder if anyone from “tonka” watches these?. Good work all around.

Just some reasons this is my favorite restoration channel

1. The items have natural rust and not fake or painted on rust

2. It’s a clean and silent restoration

3. No interrupting music

4. Genuine craftsmanship

Great work, I hope to be this good, I enjoy restoring toys from my childhood. I do have a question - Why powder coat vs paint, no judgment , just curious, i could see pros/cons to both from finish, cost, labor , suplies. Thanks again great vid

I used to plead with my Dad to go look at these beauties in the toy section of the store we frequented for clothing and groceries……. I knew better than to ask for one, with 7 of us the money went for clothing and groceries …….. I remember what they looked like though 😃❤️

welcome back! this one struck me as strange. for such a rusty piece the metal seems pristine. no pitting at all. I don't see that very often. can anyone explain what conditions cause that? excellent video though. beautiful job, as always. hope all is well.
