Nice .. I recently purchased an EVIL faction 2 bike, and it came with a rockshox pike DJ .. the fork had two random grey plastic things with it, and I was scratching my head in confusion for about 45 mins looking at my bike and wondering where they were supposed to go 😂

What if the shock doesn't have a rubber ring? Makes it tougher to tell if things are dialed in

Probably just wondering if your bike won't break on a Nato jump, this is where you be if you get rejected for your not intentional blinking. These are the colors indicating metal stretch and you can take it apart and it is not filled with oil, which is unusual for every air bagged sitting bird. So we let your drive over concertina fence in a 3 meter height and beg your local tyre reseller for mercy.

In short, settings will not make a difference at all for most people, just professionals might notice it really.

I think that you are missing some key concepts of suspension.
AIR PRESSURE is weight sensitive (IE: think of it as having he correct coil springs for your WT)
The Clickers are speed sensitive.
The Clickers are more or less controlling the Bleed of the Piston before enough force is built up to force the oil through the stack to deflect the piston shims
Adding clicks pushing a tapered needle down closing off the bleed and vise versa.
The Shims stacks can be modified to adjust the LOW-Speed/Mid-Speed/High Speed damping when clickers are not enough.
Think of it this way OEM Stacks are setup to FIT 75% of riders......


Thus faster riders setups will generally be setup stiffer as opposed to slower riders. Also a good setup suspension will stay up in the stroke (first few inchs of travels) as opposed to riding in the mid-stroke and bottom stroke where it will be harsher.

99% of riders will think that their suspension is TOO STIFF when in fact it is NOT STIFF ENOUGH.
Rebound can also be use to control the Compression side of DAMPING

Also where there is a lot of misunderstanding is what LOW SPEED and HIGH SPEED Damping really are (What type of obstacles actually are considered LOW SPEED or HIGH SPEED )

This is only the tip of the iceberg with true suspension tuning...

I got a Yari RC 2019 Debon Air. I set rebound 14 click from faster(about half), two tokens in air cam and compression open when going up and one/two click going down

So the label in the lower side that says, Psi x Lbs ita totally wrong. I'm in 200 lbs and my fork have less than 90 Psi. Fast rebound. And my hands are happy.
