Arrow 4x02 Oliver vs Thea Fight Scene

Yeah I don’t like Thea as a character at all. Especially when she willingly went with Malcom early on. You know, a god damn terrorist.

Man even in Season 4 when Oliver was trying to be comic accurate-funny and friendly, he was still scary and sparks of our old Oliver Queen were still there. These were the sparks that ignited the fire from season 5 and onwards.

When Laurel was acting crazy Oliver tried to make sure she was ok but when Thea needed him all he did was attack her

I'll never understand people saying season 4 was bad. Was just as solid as the others, just as good, literally same the same vibe (which is good!). Maybe people don't like the whole Multiverse and other heroes thing and the series connecting which might make some parts of the show more light-hearted for the sake of other series like The Flash who's always crossovering. But c'mon, it was just like this in the comics. Do y'all expect dark origin stories throughout the whole show? And Arrow didn't even get lighter, it even The Flash has some bloody scenes. I swear people will complain about anything.

All of you actually thinking this was a fight between Oliver and Thea are completely missing the point. What Oliver did here is called TOUGH LOVE. He did not want Thea losing control and allowing her anger to consume her like he once did. There is a big difference between loving a sibling enough to teach them about how actions have consequences and actually fighting a sibling.

the shows biggest mistake was running away from scary Oliver we needed that just like season 1

Another Batman reference. Under The RedHood there was a scene where Robin broke the collar bone to a thug. They couldn’t get the info they needed so Batman went off on Jason for using unnecessary moves. May not be exactly how it was done but still.
