ОтветитьExtremely helpful, thanks so much!

Ответитьnice
ОтветитьVery useful tip - thanks
ОтветитьJust bought a Rokinon 12mm f2 and this is EXACTLY what I need to use this fully manual lens. Thanks!
ОтветитьI chose center button for mine.
ОтветитьThis was excellent, thanks! Really answered my newbie questions!
ОтветитьClear no nonsense tutorial; thank you!
ОтветитьHaving this cam and it's taking very good photos ( I'm very poor in cam )
ОтветитьMany thanks, really clear and useful info, great job cheers!
ОтветитьThis is just great!. We were shooting last night through a Celestron telescope and it was a pain to focus without knowing the focus magnifier option. We adjusted the focus by trial and error shots. Next time we will be prepared :) Thank you so much!
Ответитьwork on a6500?
ОтветитьPerfect video, thank you for posting, very helpful. I assigned AF/MF Toggle instead and to my delight, when I hit the buton to toggle MF ON, focus magnifier appears automatically and remains on according to your instructions. Perfect. Thank you. Subscribed and will look at your other A6000-related videos.
ОтветитьThis works only with manual lenses, am I correct?
ОтветитьThanks Rob
That helps ,specially because am using manual focus lenses
Thank you Robert for taking the time and trouble to make this tutorial.
You saved me hours of reading. Well done!
Thank you!!!! This gonna help me on my astro shots!! The c1 button for sure!!
ОтветитьAgreed. The fact that the focus magnifier is closed once you hit the shutter button is a huge disadvantage. Makes it almost useless for macro and makes me want to get rid of it.
Ответитьthat magnifier focus only work with focus lens ??
Ответитьgracias me sirvio mucho MUCHAS GRACIAS
ОтветитьVery good points discussed here. Every Sony A6000 owner, must care to go though this and apply the same setting, if you ever use manual focus. Result is incredible. In fact this is the reason why I love my A6000 so much.
Ответитьlegit saved my life on the magnifier...looked for hours on how to do it on a rented a6300 omg. thank you!!!!!
ОтветитьWow. I didn't know about Double magnification. Thanks.
ОтветитьAwesome tip! Thanks
ОтветитьAwesome tutorial! I kept having to go into the menu every time and didn't know I can set focus magnifier to a shortcut key!!! Thanks a ton!!!!
ОтветитьHi, question please - can the magnification be used while recording video on the a6000?
Thank you.
Hi, is there a way to display the level meter when using focus magnifier?
Ответитьwhat lens did you use?
ОтветитьThank you,great information.
ОтветитьThank you for this video!!!
ОтветитьIs this possible to do on the Sony a6500? I didnt not see that option in the custom button setting.
ОтветитьYour videos are great !!!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьWhat is the difference of DMF and MF? Since DMF also zooms in and focus it?
ОтветитьJust awesome. Thanks for the clear, concise tutorial.
ОтветитьI do like your videos but you should really take the a6300 off the title of this video as it is misleading. The a6300 can use focus magnifier in autofocus. The a6000 cannot.
Came here trying to find the best way of using it in autofocus on the a6300. I find if I have auto ISO it really mixes up the exposure.
May I please ask if the focus peak magnification works in video mode as well? If yes, how to set it, I set everything on but its just not magnifying
cheers
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your great tutorial. I've had my a6000 for two years and knew about DMF/MF assist, but never about the focus magnifier. I decided to set c1 to manual focus, and the middle button in the ring on the back of the camera to focus magnifier. I love this so much more than MF assist - it would always distract me from the greater composition. This is so much better to tweak the magnification and still keep the "big picture" of the composition in mind.
This is how a tutorial should be. Exactly what i was looking for. Other tutorials were jumping guns and did not start with when these settings are possible and new comers like me could not even figure out how to enable them, forget using them.
ОтветитьThank you so much! Just what I was looking for!
ОтветитьThanks man!! This was so helpful!!
ОтветитьOn the a6300 when I do this, the shutter half way isn't stopping the focus magnifier, would you know why?
ОтветитьCan Focus Magnifier be used when looking through the viewfinder or only available via the LCD
Ответить
