The Abrams will evolve in the M1E3 and AbramsX variant in a couple of years.

Correction the M26E3 Pershing was reclassified as a medium tank not a heavy tank… and so where all the Patton tanks models and modified versions of the Patton tanks…

Just to make some things clear. The M1A2 Sep V4 is no longer the newest model of Abrams tank. The Sep V4 variant is being replaced by the M1E3 variant, which is assumed to take on the designation of M1A3 later down the line. Just wanted to make that clear.

Edit: I forgot to add this earlier, but the M551 Sheridan does have a replacement in the works now. It has been dubbed the M10 booker.

You can actually buy a military grade tank and a fighter jet over here in America under two conditions: the fighter jet is considered obsolete, and the weapons are taken off. The tank has to be obsolete as well. So I could buy a Sherman tank rn if I wanted to, but AR’s are too much apparently
