Western people talking east asian language with western accent is always funny.
ОтветитьI love how Kiara starts talking purposefully foreigner Japanese just to mirror Marine's broken English.
Ответитьeveryone's 17 till they need a passport
Ответитьatleast marine actually knows where kiara is from :)
ОтветитьTraveling alone without knowing the surrounding language for the first time is very scary
ОтветитьTSA Kiara did a good job
ОтветитьShe would probably do better in Canada, she'll fit right in saying sorry to everything
ОтветитьGranny Marine kambate!
ОтветитьMarine: Excuse me... Excuse me...
Kiara: ...WHAT? 💀💀
Good thing that austrian immigration officer spoke both japanese and english. Really she should not be in that job.
Ответитьcan I just say that it's okay if shes like, 31 or something.

I literally didn't even notice Kiara switching back to Japanese. She's just that damn smooth.

ОтветитьPicturing Marine not knowing this and studying up some phrases to travel there in Eng only to actually get there and find out everyone's speaking German instead
ОтветитьI wonder if Jorji can spell "3rd season"
ОтветитьIt's either 11 or 77! 🤨🫨🤣
ОтветитьGamer: when houshou marine doesn't understand English. Just use smartphone to translate them. Oh my God what an idiot. She has a smartphone to Google translate them but she did not think of it. Men imagine myself I was on the airport when theres a Japanese girl came here to visit in America. Men I'm gonna use Google translate to communicate to her if things might get problem for to understand. Oh damn
Fbi: safety secured
Ninjahunter: 👍
everything above 21 is just a number
also: we all know woman become 18-22 and then just starting to ripen up, but never age
Simp mode off:
you old, get use to it, the sooner you realise you out of your prime, the better you survive the fall once you hip hurting, your knees start cracking and your back starts hurting
Marine : is a Pirate.
Also Marine : "I have never been overseas..."
😂😂😂😂
"Immigration da-YO!"
ОтветитьKiara is the nicest immigration officer i have encountered, normally they are like hurry up and get out of my face.
Ответитьthis is immigration DAYO!!
ОтветитьI love these two hot red heads together..
Ответить"They will talk fast to you in German!"
proceeds putting on a fake English accent when talking Japanese
Just use google translate, it's not perfect but it'll be enough.
ОтветитьDude, Kiara is scaring even me, and my English skills are perfectly fine 😂😂💀 Poor Marine...
ОтветитьThe way Kiara said what was scary!! 😢😭😭
Ответитьi worked for 11 years at a small german airport, and we managed to find a solution to everything. hands, feet, google translate. we even got some employees taking some stranded passengers home for a night. i think there is nothing to be afraid of.
ОтветитьSo Marine is 3.14 years old, makes sense
ОтветитьKiara: I need your passport
Marine: ah passport yes “vea, vea, vea”
Me: “vea, vea” is spanish for “check it, check it”
Kiara please pick senchou up I can only imagine she hop in a bus traveling nowhere near her destination or tell the taxi driver the wrong. Way
ОтветитьMarine beim Zoll in Österreich, das würde ich gerne sehen... ^^
ОтветитьThe animation was so good!
ОтветитьThat english is good enough to get by in the states
ОтветитьYou can indeed travel alone at 17. I travelled alone when I was 14.
ОтветитьShe's the Girl of 17.
Ответитьkiara is not doing it correctly.
if they realise the person can't speak/understand English they will be very loud and slow.
YOU. HAVE. TO. GO. OUTSIDE.
like that
I'm always amazed by how bad the English of most Japanese people is. Their school education is so much better than ours here in Europe in most regards (their students outperform ours in pretty much every other subject), yet most people who leave our high schools (at least the ones who acquire a diploma that allows them to go to university, so ~50% of the total pupils) know enough English to comfortably hold a conversation with a native speaker, so at least a solid B2 in the CEFR. The knowledge of most Japanese seems to be A1-A2 at best.
And it's not even that their language is so much more different from English than our ones - Finnish, for example, is probably even more different from English than Japanese, yet most Fins manage to speak proper English.
Why is that? Is it Japanese teaching methods? Disinterest and national isolation? I generally like Japan's ideal of preserving their own culture by having strong social cohesion, few immigrants and a strong sense of nationality, but does it mean that they are incapable of learning English?
As long as you are not in a rush, going through an airport isn't a problem even if you have no idea what you are doing and bumble through everything. So first time traveling, just plan to be stuck there for a while.
