I’ve noticed that deferring JavaScript usually improves core web vital scores but overall deteriorates user experience.

Unfortunately the display of page speed and lighthouse is not correct, at least it differs from the core vitals. Page speed and lighthouse are both >95% but core vitals are not. Therefore it is bad to test.
