Here are some of the queries, as gns3 is adding web interface, I am considering to create a testbed for our network(For CI/CD) thing.

1. How many node is possible to simulate in gns3.
Lets say server that will be used for simulation has CPU= INTEL® XEON® PROCESSOR E7-4830 V4, RAM=256GB
2. Can we simulate whole network (lets say network is mixture of routeros(mikrotik, each chr requires around 256MB of RAM) , total nodes to simulate is around 300?
3. Is there a better way of doing it (for simulation), tried in Eve-ng but considering of moving away from it.

Why would this be any helpful than GNS3 GUI program?

unable to connect to the internet I have the network as bridged Adapter with promiscuous mode allow VMs and cable connected selected. I uncommented the network settings and saved. The DNS is not resolving neither can I ping anything. What do you recommend I do?

hello /Mr Bombal, regards from Peru . just I wanted to ask that after to install the GNS3 2.2. when I open the WEB UI the browser ask for a user and password. how can I fix this? I am running GNS3 over Mac OS. thanks for your help

David I am trying to access the gns3server via web-ui from my local network. I am being prompted username and password. I tried gns3/gns3 but it didn't work. Do you know the default credentials for the latest build gns3 2.2.2?

-This is a bit frustrating because 2 videos in and I STILL cant find what happened to the console for the switch between 2.1 and 2.2.5 and yet we going to down a weird rabbit hole nearly 10 minutes long about some experimental WebUI??!!! Why did you just replicate the WONDERFULLY logical step by step videos of 2.1 ?/!!?? I'm so confused and all I wanted to do was study and learn some IOS commands but its kinda hard to do that when you are spending WAY to much time on this stuff and not getting me to my MUCH NEEDED CONSOLE PORT! LOL :) Anyway love your stuff in general just not sure whats going on here LOL :)

hi . pls can u recommend ways to allow or make the starting ethernet from 1's and not 0's .like ether 0 on the GUI is confusing as to the interface in the devices like router san switches, which start from 1's..
