You people are insane taking these children on this trip!!! Someone should call some child prtection agency in your jurisdiction. There are a 100 things that can go wrong no matter how cautious you think you are. Totally irresponsible in my eyes.
Ответить“I don’t know if you do anything lightly! “ classic! You two are awesome.
ОтветитьI just found your channel a few weeks ago and I have truly enjoyed going through your playlist and you have such a beautiful and amazing family God bless you guys
ОтветитьFound it Jim. Glad you’re ok. Great video. What a beautiful family you have.
May God continue to bless you and yours.
The epic anniversary canoe trip in Alaska. That one vid when you looked like you was leaving camera behind. That commitment to getting that shot for us@@@
ОтветитьJim, and Tori, what an incredible journey you guys had made through the French River in Ontario with your babies and your dog!!! It takes a lot of guts, courage, knowledge, planning, and confidence in your habilitéis to manage eventualities in your canoe, to keep yourselves, and your children safe, and secure under those rainy weather conditions, and the river rapids. Your guys were positive, and motivated, most of the time even when Jim was sick. I love your nurturing bonding time with both children!!! ❤❤The best to you and your family!!!
ОтветитьYour adventure in nature is so good for your babies !! Amazing memories you will have as a family. Love following your dreams
ОтветитьWhat an amazing Family Adventure Movie 🥰🥰🥰🥰

ОтветитьLast year I was so sick all I could do was watch your adventure videos, which inspired me to go on a two month cycling tour to Newfoundland this year from Ontario. Thanks for sharing your adventures God bless you and your family 😊
ОтветитьGreat video, beautiful family, incredible lifestyle. Never give it up. God Bless you and your wonderful family…
ОтветитьYears ago I had a severe heat stroke. Two week’s later I drove to the same area and had an episode that was later diagnosed as a panic attack. They would come and go. Symptoms were similar to what you described. Lack of sleep could bring it on. Keep hydrated. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but Later in life I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I stopped having the attacks in my late 50’s.
ОтветитьHello mate as a parent of a child with disability i almost cried purely by happiness looking at your kids esp wesley. I hope 1 day i have the courage to do what you are doing. Keeps safet mate!
ОтветитьJim should have 5 million subs .. thanks for sharing your adventures !!!
ОтветитьI love nature I love water BUT I love my child more. Til this I was a fan but post concussion this is just foolish. It is not worth risking your children you will never enjoy another moment of your life if they are hurt. I pray you reconsider this path.😢
ОтветитьI love Tories paddle and the little paddle of little sweet son. We are very happy to watch your videos from Germany.
ОтветитьYou guys are amazing!!
We are binge watching alllll your shows for weeks now. We live about 20 minutes from you- and in the same town as Wesley’s school.
We hope to run into you one day in our travels …
Love how you guys take your kids are all these adventures, it’s a true gift to your family. You guys rock!
You both rock. Love your channel.
ОтветитьI am also calling child protective services to nominate you both for parents of the year!
While it was over 30 years ago we would load the little ones up for back country trips, those experiences are remembered by our girls to this day even as young as they were. Ignore the Karen's and Darren's for they know little to nothing about the importance of being out in nature, the fresh air, water, and quality time spent directly with the kids, nor the challenges of taking care of them whilst out like this.
From hiking, hunting, fishing, to boating my parents drug us along on all the adventures as well, and those are the times I cherish most in my memories and what we talk about 45 years later around the holiday dinner table. Wouldn't trade those times for anything in the world and glad my wife and I could continue the tradition with our girls, the youngest which was inspired by the wilds that she now teaches English in Africa as her husband builds new schools, houses, and churches for communities.
Many think life should be spent on a city stoop as a kid, others think that kids should be kept in a protective box, they will never understand; and it is a good thing, as it keeps the campsites less crowded!
You are correct, it is far more likely for injuries to be had on a highway, but there are some that think they know best, and want to make sure we follow their methods of parenting, and I say to each their own, as one that would threaten a family is a special kind of someone, and no one wants that type of person injecting their superior parenting instruction anyways.
Keep up the good works, you guys are AWESOME! Stay safe and keeps those kids outdoors and away from the digital dungeons!
Love you channel! You and your family are so amazing!
I had the exact same symptoms after a concussion from xc mtb racing. Many of the athletes i talk to have the exact symptoms too. Tahnee Seagrave a famous Gravity racer just did a podcast dicussing your symptoms
On Downtime mtb podcast.
Such a lovely family 🙏💜
ОтветитьYou are such a blessed family...show the universe what your all about ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI'm watching the part with the geese flying overhead. I live on the Kankakee River in Illinois, the geese never leave and fly south in the winter and north in the summer. They stay all year long and it's becoming a problem. They poop all over our beautiful park and it can't be used because of it. Many generations of geese now in our area who have no idea they are supposed to migrate. When the river freezes in the winter the dam area stays open because of the moving water and I would venture to say we then have well over a thousand geese here. I think in the near future there will be more geese than the population of my small town. Sadly I used to like geese but these days not so much. Love your videos, I too took my kids camping and boating when they were young, it's a huge amount of work and I applaud you and Torie for taking this on.
ОтветитьYou guys are one great family that is so cool you and the kids and your wife God bless you and your family and you guys are super cool
ОтветитьI’m sitting here thinking about an adventure with my 3yo and almost taking myself out of it and I come across your absolute unit of a family!! Truly incredible all of you! Great work! Keep giving them kids an amazing life and nature education! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I’m not going to worry about taking my daughter now!!
ОтветитьDid Wesley just say Hi! When you were carrying him up to the camp Congratulations the outdoors is helping along with hearing Hudson say Hi😮?
ОтветитьWHAT AN FAMILY ADVENTURE! THANKS FOR SHARING IT! EVEN THE FAMILY DOG GOT TO ENJOY THE TRIP! Do take care. Fl., U.S.A.

ОтветитьJim I thought you were in destructible having watched you on several far Northern River trips like the seal... Hang in there buddy.
This is the first time I've seen the children... Quite an adventure such a brave little family
that slip made me yell!!! luckily it looked a lot worse than it was
ОтветитьI loved this vídeo, congratulations for you and your wife for the greatest adventure that you provide specialy for that childrens. My names Sidney and I live in Brazil
ОтветитьA really nice video. Brought back a lot of memories for my wife and I, canoeing with our small children. Two gear questions: what boots are you wearing when you canoe Jim? Are they just hiking boots? And we didn't quite understand how you were connecting lining ropes at the from of the canoe? Is that some sort of lanyard that further connects to the rope? It seems like a better system than ours currently where we just yell at the rope when it gets tangled in our feet when shoulder portaging.
ОтветитьYou two are a total inspiration. What it must take to plan a trip like this with two young children, let alone one with a disability, is amazing. Just because a child has a disability doesn't mean they can't experience things that others do. To see the smiles on Wesley's face is just wonderful, and the interaction with his brother is beautiful. No one knows what the mind is capable of - even more so in the mind of someone with a disability. Unforeseen occurrences befall everyone and no life is lived well when you worry about all the 'what ifs'. You can't help what happens on a trip - like this or otherwise - and its clear you didn't plan for problems to take place just for sensationalism. You had a contingency, and that's what matters. It's clear you love both boys equally. To leave the boys home would be heart-breaking for you both. You don't live your lives in fear and you're a family that enjoys life. Keep it that way. Well done to you both.
ОтветитьMy hat is off to you both, not only a lot of work to make this trip then add two little ones and a dog! And filming! A joy to watch.
ОтветитьThis might be a little too late bc u may already know, but it seems like your blood sugar was low. I have felt like that a few times here and there in my life, but the worst episode was the other day. I usually only eat one meal and day, and that night I only ate a light salad and when I woke up I felt everything u felt. And you are wayyyyy more active than I am, but it still gets to me even tho I don't burn a lot of calories. Make sure to eat 3 meals and day and always have a snack on hand just in case. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Take care <3
ОтветитьWhat do you feed north?
ОтветитьYou guys are way beyond awesome. Reminds me a lot of how our fam lived in the seventies. Love you and keep it up!🏕️
ОтветитьJim your son Hudson is your twin red

Nice stay safe wow good trip with love
ОтветитьThank you so much. Have a good time watching you guys beautiful family. God bless you.
ОтветитьHello Jim, another great video. You had me really worried when you started feeling ill and thought that you were having a heart attack. Us middle age guys have to be carful out there. Can you tell me which knife you were carrying on your side during this trip?
ОтветитьThe only thing missing was a shot of Huddy at the end raising a fist and saying “Yeaaahh!” Jim Baird style ❤
Ответить
