How to download and setup Inkscape 1.2

I'm not very computer smart, I have Inkscape 0.92 downloaded on my computer but I would like to download the current that you are using so I can follow along easily. Do I need to delete the program I have or is it ok to have both on there, if it will even let me when I try to download the 1.2??

I've been trying to finally learn how to use the digital tools to make logos and downloaded the program yesterday, and the layout of mine is entirely different from what you're showing in the video, to the point that looks like I haven't even downloaded the same software. So... Thought...?
