I think Dallas could use new ownership and a change of power at the top. They draft very well and develop players but seem to be lacking in leadership from coach to the owner.

Coaches that know how to adjust IN GAME to what the other team is doing. That’s number one. Mike McCarthy started to get things going as the season progressed last year using motion as apart of their offensive scheme but wasn’t able to fully adapt it into their playbook. Dan helped McCarthy to a degree with understanding how to help the offensive side of the ball recognize how to use it to beat defenses. However, Dan wasn’t a master of stopping it himself. That is what Zimmer brings to the table. To help Mike, dak, and the offense recognize how to beat defenses in a different way- while also- on the other side- be able to stop those types of mobile offenses and motion- type offenses aka- shanahan offenses and his tree ( Kyle shanahan, mcshay, mcdaniels, kingsberry). As far as talent goes, they need to be healthy. Last year they had safeties playing linebacker. And offenses knew how to run the ball against our defense when we had 205lbs safeties trying to stop the run lmao. The rest is performance from the players. But again, it’s coaching and IN-GAME play calling and adjustments. Every one of Dallas’s losses last year they lost the same way. And against Green Bay- all those same deficiencies showed up in one day and it was a complete disaster and the coaches were not able to put the players in the best position.

Luckily Dallas has the best QB in the NFC and has some excellent stars but theyre always missing depth and never build a whole roster...They just need starter level quality at ever position instead of stars and scrubs..Maybe if they had better coaching thay wouldn't matter but they never do

Yeah, every team in the NFL would love it to be that easy. It’s one thing to draft any qb. It’s a whole other thing to draft a good one. Also if this is Dak’s last year, Dallas prolly will be picking in the mid - late teens of the first round. They most likely won’t be able to draft one high enough unless they move assets to get in the top 5. I have my doubts Dallas would be willing to do that.
