I really got disappointed by Samsung 😡.. I purchased S22 ultra on Jan 2023 and now my mobile display got some ghost image and after visiting Samsung service center they ask me permission to do calibration to remove ghost images but after several attempt by samsung engineer the issue got increased nd finally samsung engineer recommended for new display change nd they changed new display too but still the issue not resolved they asked for two days time now which means 04.07.2023 tuesday will be getting update from samsung.. waste of purchasing Samsung products.. same thing happen with my Samsung 55" 4k TV (55BU8000).
USELESS PRODUCT FROM SAMSUNG NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.

I will keep my Note20 Ultra til it dies. Literally. My phone has an SD card slot for memory.

I have just got rid of my iPhone 14 pro and now have the Samsung s22 ultra, as I really wanted the burgundy colour, and OMG I am in love, this phone is insane! (And it’s not even their current newest phone out) you can do so much on it, I wish I switched sooner, I have been an iPhone user for years but wow this phone pulled me over and I am staying!

I've bought s22 ultra since around 6 months ago and it's quite perfect
The s pen works great and the phone has been exactly the same even after 6 months that I've used.
I actually love s23 ultra as well but since it has a little bit smaller display, I love my s22 ultra over s23 ultra BUT I love every Samsung phones and products as well

i don't like that the remove the SD card slot for extra storage. you did not talk about that.

Since I do most paperwork on my phone my boss is buying me the S23 even though I recommended the S22 based on your review. He's younger than I am so he still has the tech/cost disconnect but I'm not crying!

Use a case and the corners won't bother u.

BATTERY CAPACITY??

No messy ink or paper wasted with an S-pen! I'm not much of an artist but I'm much better with an S-pen. Far less resistance compared to an ink pen or markers dragging on paper. (very fluid and fun) The S22 Ultra has a much nicer, improved glide to it say compared to a Note 3. Easy to erase the last line or mistake you made too. Oh and on the Apple uh sorry zip zilch nada.🤭

I know many people don't talk to each other any more because they like to hide behind typed words but how good is it for making a phone call? Does it drop calls, poor reception when under cover or around electronics, is the call sound quality decent? These are things that no reviewers cover any more. To me it doesn't mater how great it takes pictures or plays games as much as how well I can communicate with a PHONE as we still call them. I Use the computer side of the phone for work and I am interested in what it can do such as the S pen for note taking or the camera for better communicating certain things and to record serial #'s and such but if I cant call people reliably it is useless to me. I use my phone for communication and talking to people IS still the best form of communication.

After you say the curved screen doesn't really add much functionality, you then go onto say the corners are sharp...i feel like making the edges more pleasant to hold may be reason...I've never held the phone though!

I do find though. I love my Samsung's......but.
I hate how it doesn't take clear photos on documents and some things (scenery and selfies are fine). It always blurs some part of the page. That is my only issue. So I really wish they'd fix the blur problem. Other than that. Great phone! 😊

I don't understand why Samsung made two different Chipset models. People say the snapdragon version is better? I think the Exynos version is better with less heat & outperforming the snapdragon version.

I don't think the curved edges are a big deal for me. My hands are small, so I think it might be better. I wish they kept that like on the iPhone10.

I absolutely feed up with curved screen ..Samsung go back ro flat ..make using the pen a lot easier ..

Drop test with screen facing down results LCD damage, though there's no cracks on the screen. But the display is flickering and several white lines across the screen.

Samsung's Note8 and Note9 made me leave my iPhone days behind me for good. The straight forward business productivity of the Notes gave me an new edge staying on top of all the things I need to on the go. The companion S Pen plays a huge part in my daily work matters. The Notes just work with my lifestyle perfectly. Another thing I loved about my Notes is the fact the build quality and longivity of the phones excellent. All this said fast forward to November 2022. During ATT's Samsung holiday promotions I took the plunge and traded in my Note9 for the Samsung Ultra in green. Now that I've been rocking it for a few months as my damily driver I cannot say enough good things about it. Well done, Samsung. This said, excellent review Ella. Thx for sharing.
