Beginner Guide to Making a WEBTOON - My Process!

I wanted to make my Webtoon but I'm not korean and I tried mangatoon but I'm not chinese I tried BiliBili Manga but that's also made from chinese I'm not racist but I lack confidence if other's are going to be interested

If any one wants to post on tapas (I haven't watched the video all the way yet) there is no length limit unless there is a gif but the width limit is 940 px. But if the length is to big tapas will break it down for you, it won't delete or mess anything up. (I haven't posted on taps a much idk to much still)

The thing is, I don’t have “create series”🥲

I just wanna say that working in 300dpi will fix the grainy issue. Higher dpi will mean more pixel within a one inch box. The higher the dpi, the better the resolution. You can go mega high but it will also make your save file massive so 300 is perfect. It also makes it super easy in case you want to make a printed book later on. You can also work in "vector layers" instead of "raster layers" for the linear to make it more smooth without the pixel look when you zoom in. ALWAYS COLOUR IN RASTER!!! I've made that mistake and it made a huge mess. Vector is great for lines and shapes but not for colour subtleties like a gradient or rendering. Hopefully these tips can help you.

This is useful because sketchpad is just trash but what about like black and white? Kinda wanna make a manga type of thing I kinda do want to color it and maybe put it in a black and white filter I don’t know I will edit this comment letting you know how well I’ve learned from this tutorial once I do make the webtoon lmao!

What you recommend only drawing what would be 2 pages at a time? For workable pixelations? Or could I follow the method you said in the beginning but times it by like 6 instead of 3 or does it not work as well that way? It seems tedious having to save and resize and crop and save over and over only 2 at a time

dude i have a set full a characters, a plot, and i can draw ,, but... its my parents 😭
dont have the appstore on my ipad, so the only apps i have are procreate, clip studio (not paid for, i just draw in doodle mode) and minecraft💀💀 i cant download webtoon on my ipad

now i could do it on my phone but i dont think i can, and i also cant download anything 17+
another thing, i also dont have safari or google, which limits me even more
any tips?? i would just think i could wait when im older (im 15 currently) but im scared im not be into that anymore by the time im old enough

in my opinion what helps me is drawing scenes that don't have that much seriousness or just the general panels that aren't as important more simple while the scenes that have depth and special moments more detail because i want people who are reading my comic to remember the scenes that have more detail other than just general scenes that have a lot of detail.
