This is what we need more of, in society..having the conversations! ❤
ОтветитьGood Jobs Guys for Attempting to Decipher the Truth!!! I Commend you fellows for "tuning In" 😉
ОтветитьThere is no black on black crime. You commit the most crime where you live. Its the same in white neighbourhoods. You are more likely to commit crime in areas you live in. Its about proximity and not race.
Ответитьalso this might not even be anything-
but after the first shooting he goes, "this is america, don't catch u slipping now, look how im living now, police be tripping now-
the look how im living now- maybe on how the criminals arent punished enough for taking lives? or how the police doesnt contain the situation maybe? idk it felt fascinating to me
I tried to find this when it came out years ago. However I haven't seen anyone state that he literally represents Jim Crow in the flesh (look at the shoes and pants, the eras off via fashion during that time). Not just a stance, but the acceptance of blinding people from reality (what was stated about things in the background) . Making things "cool" w a smile with popluarity. We do this, the dances and fame; whats "important". That's current society.
ОтветитьIf this video is monetized you have completely missed the entire message of the song.
ОтветитьI appreciate the fact they caught the distraction and the real message
ОтветитьThe dancing is like social media…. Like the stuff that we as Americans SHOULD NOT BE FOCUSING ON. Meanwhile THE BACKGROUND is the commotion that we need to be focusing on. The riots, the shootings etc.
ОтветитьWe just wanna party
Party just for you..
We just want the money
Money just for you.
I know you wanna party (yeah)
Party just for free
Girl, you got me dancin' (girl, you got me dancin')
Dance and shake the frame.
We just wanna party (yeah)
Party just for you (yeah)
We just want the money (yeah)
Money just for you (ooh)
I know you wanna party (yeah)
Party just for free (yeah)
Girl, you got me dancin' (girl, you got me dancin')
Dance and shake the frame (ooh)
"Its like the focus is on the dancing but theres so much happening in the background." You dont realize it yet, but yes that is exactly the point.
ОтветитьIts always so strange to me when reactors jump back when watching this video, yeah i get it this ones 4yrs old but theres a TON of reactions to it. I mean ig it was there to be shocking but it never struck me as a shock? for one you see him slowly pull out the gun, transition to an exaggerated pose pointing the gun at a now bagged mans head...like hes gonna pull the trigger...every single thing about it is telling you he is going to...why are you shocked?
ОтветитьAwesome reaction to the truth for those that can't see the reality
ОтветитьInner city schools often do require uniforms, actually, and not just the charter schools.
ОтветитьBlack in black violence right there😂😂😂😂😂what a clueless man. This represents u not black on black violence
ОтветитьThe choir scene: Charleston, empty card: that’s how they’ve been killing black people… in order to penetrate the black community they try to infiltrate through the black women and hyper-sexualize them at the same time.
America. has been killing and ruining black people’s lives since we’ve stepped foot on this cursed land.
Black on black???
Ответитьi love how media literate dude on the right is.
ОтветитьPeople like a show so how else people gonna know about childish Gambino
ОтветитьThese dudes watched the video before hand. Putting on an act for the camera. Lame.
Ответитьhe said was he running from white people lol wow that's deep kid
ОтветитьSo long ago, this is the video which helped me discover this channel. I love the honest approach and im glad you got out of the homeless situation. scary stuff . we always get old or young, and honestly white reactions to stuff, but as a person of colour , seeing people who i count from the community (LGBTQ+) that is just strength and keep on fighting
ОтветитьThe crazy part about the very first part he said in Africa they wear uniforms but in black schools right here in America they wore uniforms. We live in the same world but two different worlds
ОтветитьI thought that the first shooting was a reference to John Wilks Booth assassinating Abe Lincoln. Noting that killing has been going on al the time. Black, white it doesnt matter.
ОтветитьTHIS IS AMERICA😢
ОтветитьThey should do an episode on white mass shooters and serial killers. It’s really needed. So sad
ОтветитьI know I'm late but the video is about america says everything will be fine but it's not it's about shootings and what america does the people in school uniform are representing all the school shootings and the church shootings and what wyo said where not paying attention just to the media and all the crime in the background represents genocide
Ответитьthis dude smart asf
ОтветитьThe video is more woke cultural marxist garbage...grievance porn, if you will.
ОтветитьWELCOME 2 RACIST AMERICA
ОтветитьThis video was five years old. Hopefully you two have learned a few new things. Like black on black crime isn’t a thing. It’s called proximity crime. Regardless of race people tend to harm those they are in community with. And also it not okay to say “blacks”. The respectful thing is to say “Black People”. But good job on picking up on so much of what was going on because it was a lot.
ОтветитьThe dancing is specifically caricature from racist depictions and blackface a while ago. The song is about systemic racism and forgetting humanity. The dancing is the use of racism by the government and people to perpetuate a cycle of
Violence and control.
I just started watching your channel and love you guys. This clip your viewing shocked me when the first person was shot. Still shocked about the clip, but your conversation helped me to understand the clip.
ОтветитьI want to commend the both 9f you for trying to understand. God bless the both of you ❤
ОтветитьМда... Сейчас такой актёрской игрой никого не убедить
ОтветитьThere is no such thing as black on black crime. More white people kill white people why not called white in white crime.
ОтветитьI subscribed because you are actually trying to understand.
ОтветитьNope not even close when it first comes on what type of pants he's wearing. Confederate uniform pants
Ответить“Once people are hurt in the black community, it’s like they’re forgotten; they’re faceless”-wyo p
ОтветитьReally impressed by the objective thinking that occurred during this video. The attention to detail. Good job, guys.
ОтветитьThere are a couple things that you guys miss and I know that this is an overview but I just decided to watch you guys out of the blue and number one the weapons in the video are treated way better than the people that are killed if you take a look at the first shooting the guy is shot they dragged his body off like it doesn't matter however the gun is wrapped up. I believe that's a metaphor to how we in America treat guns and allow them to stay in our communities even though they kill so many innocent people. Number two is that there's a lot of distractions keeping us from seeing everything that's happening around us. In the video he got arrested at the end for smoking a blunt despite having committed so many other murders so that also is a huge metaphor to how murders are not solved because police go after low level offenses like smoking pot and people end up getting severe punishments for that however mass murders get off under the mental. There is so much he is saying but that is a start
ОтветитьThe celley was the tool for George Floyd and maybe others from then to now, so relevant! Good Video. Look for the times now and what the signs were then....
ОтветитьI think as Europese its because the usa looks like a war zone with all the violence black on black violence /rich vs poor / white vs black/ black vs white. I think and see America as a 3rd world country you can make it there but if u dont u struggle a lot. And its a new country olso so they have a long way to go
ОтветитьThis is America
Ответить"Black on black violence"
Ответитьi get what you are saying. the bag over the head is reference for strange fruit and how they cut them down from trees and kept the head cloth on. it was a disgusting process.
ОтветитьJust revisiting this song after a while to see if the impact is the same. I like you guys, i think youre well meaning and dont have any racist intent but i think on a subconscious level its interesting that with this acts of violence he literally and clearly says "this is america" as in america as whole or america as an institution and you interpret it as a specifically black problem. He doesnt say "this is black america".
As you correctly pointed out the church shooting wasnt catried out but a black man but you revisit the idea as black on black violence. On another note, the bags on the victims heads do make them another faceless number but it also reminds me of abu ghraib.
OK I'm about to blow your mind, I had to ask a POC to explain the background to me and I now get "some" of it. So, when he shot the choir you was confused. When speaking on it you remembered hearing about a shooting at a church somewhere. But what you failed to hear or understand was when this happened the news reported it as Shooting at historical black church by racist, radical right, young man. For some reason to us white people the only words that stuck was shooting at church. He wants you to pay more attention to what WE call "the little things". I love you channel keep up the good work.
