I was in the trenches last week with the group, just couldnt get out but this will help, thank you.
ОтветитьPlease speak English. Ha, ha. Thank you. Will try this. I'm 77 and still need lots of help.
ОтветитьBackswing: shoulder initiated with early wrist cock or all arm swing with early wrist cock?
ОтветитьShot 77 last Thursday, (senior tees)3 double bogeys, all those taking 2 to get out of bunkers.
ОтветитьLove this video. Dad would be 1 of my players partners here. (I’m 73) Pray that someday, I can hit sand shots. My biggest challenge. 🙃
ОтветитьDanny, I loved this video. Can’t wait to practise this at my club. Many thanks. You’re a great teacher!
ОтветитьI learned a lot from your teaching with your dad , whom I can relate as a senior hacker. Also your instructions are easy to follow. Enjoy viewing your posts.
ОтветитьThanks, Simple and quick. It is much easier to think about the (2) tips instead of (6 or 7).
ОтветитьFirstly thanks a mill for your lessons. You say hit with the toe here. I thought you had an earlier video where you suggest we crouch to get the heel scrape under the ball. This is different. I can’t get both to work 😢
ОтветитьThe toe is a great point, I open the face and heel it into the side of the bunker. Going to go try the toe thing and flaring the foot when we get some dry weather.
ОтветитьIs digging the feet into the sand not a thing anymore?
ОтветитьSo much more than a golf video here!
ОтветитьThe other day I literally searched how to get out of the bunker when I was practicing. I watched a super confusing video but I think I understand now. Pretty sure I have been making it work by doing what your dad was doing but I think I can do it now! Thank you!!!
Ответитьhaving your dad laerning is great, love it, I could understand all the mistake high handicaper made, thanks
ОтветитьThis is new to me. I'm old school, open club face and open stance then slide the club under the ball. These will take some time
ОтветитьDanny, watched this again and was struggling getting out of the sand. Tried everything. Today I went to the practice area got 60 out 75 out this time. playing tomorrow will see what happens. Thanks
ОтветитьThis is the best bunker lesson I have seen!
ОтветитьCan you explain how I can get the written summary of the lesson please
ОтветитьDanny watched the one hand chipping video - amazing first strike was 30 yrs on target. Now have to work on bringing in the other hand. Tried and just kept topping the ball. I’ll get but just wanted to say your amazing.
Mike
Great video, one question, where should I make contact? What is the point I am aiming for? I have heard 2 inches before the ball, 4 inches? Thanks!
ОтветитьA slightly open stance and open club face. Swing the toe line of stance with open club face produce a straight out. Also the open face puts spin on the ball for a softer landing.
ОтветитьAs always great instructional video Danny, Thanks.
ОтветитьBrilliantly as usual
Ответитьi especially enjoy these videos with your dad. i picked up the sport a little too late and never really took the opportunity to play with my grandfather. now i really wish i could.
ОтветитьHi Danny
Just watched this again a couple of times. Simple explanation of how to get out of the sand. Tell your dad thanks too!
Mike
Danny, many thanks for this lesson. Like your dad, I’m a senior and today I confidently got out of the bunker twice for a sandy thanks to this lesson. Got to admit that it feels great!
ОтветитьIt’s so useful that you give precise logical explanations. It helps me understand exactly what’s needed
ОтветитьDanny, I've been a subscriber for a while now and really enjoy watching your videos, but only just come across this one. I'm not a senior, (altho I'm closing in!), but I am a terrible bunker player; it's easily the weakest part of my game. However, this lesson was so simple and yet so informative, that for the first time that I can remember, I'm actually looking forward to getting into a bunker and trying it out 😅 Hopefully I can see some quick results just like your Dad did! Thanks for everything you do!
Ответитьgreat lesson I like the fact that you start with a square face Love you having your Dad in these videos All The Best for good golf
ОтветитьDelight to watch you and your dad you are a good son
ОтветитьWhat about in the face or deep pot bunkers our 7 is surrounded by 7 deep pot bunkers and is 200 from medal tee over water really challenging hole cheers really like videos with dad I'm similar age
ОтветитьHi Danny, you helped me once before so I thought I’d try again. I’m struggling in bunkers and like this lesson, but I don’t really understand your concept of getting the toe working under the ball so I wondered if you could expand on that? When I try that I think I get a bit “flicky”. Thanks, love your content…
ОтветитьAbsolutely love the videos with your dad. Great content
ОтветитьHi Danny. Tried this and it was working great for a while. Then suddenly with the same technique (i think), i started either shanking from the bunker for long shots or digging too much for shorter shots. 😢
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьGreat video Danny you certainly know what it takes to improve the game
ОтветитьWatching you teach your Dad is inspirational on multiple levels. Son and Dad. Dad learning and guiding the rest of us seniors to better golf. Love it.
ОтветитьVery special seeing you help your Dad.
ОтветитьYR Dad did what I was doing, he asks the ques. for us . Dad seems to know what we do wrong. Great team.... Dad must be a great golfer as welll
ОтветитьYou and your Dad ... a wonderful partner !!! All my grettings to all of you from Chile
Ответитьfor his Dad he needs to work on him letting the club fall, he's too quick to come back down and uses too much arms instead of letting that club do the work like Danny is saying.
ОтветитьGreat video and instructions. Went straight to the practice ground and saw instant results. Thank you.
ОтветитьWish I had had you as a coach years back..! great explanations!
ОтветитьBrilliant bunker lesson @Danny - really clear and direct with execution
ОтветитьHi Danny; your father used to do as many amateur golfers do. Great lesson. Congrats and cheers from Marbella
ОтветитьDanny, I wish your Dad many more happy, healthy years enjoying the game we all love.
ОтветитьGreat vid thanks to you both
ОтветитьCan you still do this with a 56 degree??
Also, love all your videos, you've help me so much with all of my swings with how well you explain everything 🙏🙏.
Great practical advice.
ОтветитьGreat lesson Danny with your father, very well explained to him for seniors to understand, well done, loved it.
