The internet is so garbage I can’t play a simple online game because the lag is terrible. Destiny 2 is unplayable. Minecraft is choppy as fuck. When are we going to get some real internet service? Still serving us short for something supposedly so great. Another con artist playing another money game.

I just recently got my Starlink kit on the Rural Canada deal. Excellent internet. Better than what i had in town

90% of my town in rural Alaska ditched the high cost state ISP for Starlink, it’s more than half the cost and at least 100x faster than what we were paying the ISP

I have a ton of respect and admiration for Mr. Musk, but I really don't like the whole starlink thing. So we're going to flood the sky with many thousands of satellites and debris orbiting Earth for very little reward other than third world countries might have easier access to the internet. Making sure resources like clean water and food are more widely distributed would seem like a better use of all those billions of dollars and resources used on this.

2500 for the unit and about 250 a month and thats for slow normal speed more speed cost enywhere from 250 to 5000 a month witch is crazy

it is but its unafordable i am a boater i travel by boat need fast sat wifi but all is unafordable and drops after a certin usage also if your unit stops working after woranty your done cuz you wont be able to aford another one i think starlink would make alot more money if they did not charge so much due to there being a lot more boaters with it and buying it

I have starlink and I live so far out I can't get internet so just that alone starlink is blessing and it's the best internet by far. I've never seen anything like it.

Over $600 in start up, $150 a month and it keeps going up. That’s the base packageZ Who knew Elon was going to end up a financial vampire that preys on poor rural people who moved outside the city bc they couldn’t afford to live there. It’s just another Hughesnet with slightly better service. And ZERO customer service btw. At least with other carriers, they don’t charge $150/month and are just like “good luck”. Wait. You don’t even get a good luck. Oh well. Just another drain on the consumer. You’re basically paying for the satellite you’re getting the service from.
