Hot clip, man the lads should go far,, eh?😉
Ответитьin all this analysis of the clearly god-like gift that is Howe's talent nary a mention: he is playing one of the most difficult instruments to control ever made. the tone he commands from a hollow-body only a maybe handful of god's - Django, Beck, Mahavishnu et al, Fripp, Zappa, Brian May and the Red Special (which technically is a hollow body as well) .. they sit with Orpheus
ОтветитьTony Kaye - the master of the Hammond organ! Never gets enough credit.
ОтветитьGroovy. So much great live music captured on these wonderful Beat Club videos, often sounding better then the records! Love the charming host and the nutty vfx effects
ОтветитьExtraordinario
Que tiempos aquellos❤
What is that instrument in front of Jon Anderson?
Ответитьthe best Yes line up I think still rock roots.
ОтветитьI know why I was born 1971. Yes!
ОтветитьToo bad Bill Bruford had issues with Chris Squire. He is an amazing drummer. Yes have been fortunate to have amazing drummers and musicians join. Such a genius band.
ОтветитьThe Sandy Hook ad in the middle of Steve Howe translating the cosmos is a real bummer bro.
ОтветитьNice to hear hippies sing falsetto over wanky jazz, seriously
ОтветитьGod Bless Butch + Nema Davis thank You Steve + Yes
ОтветитьSteve leaves me absolutely mesmerized watching this...
ОтветитьSem comentário...Only Yes!
ОтветитьYou got to love the idea that the camera man thinks he is a large part of the "art". Instead of someone like, oh I don't know, Bill Bruford. But give les allemands credit, at least they showed quite a bit of him, usually they avoid the drummer.
ОтветитьImagine the mansplaining; all the blokes from that era taking their girlfriends to see this.
ОтветитьSweden absolutely blows
Ответитьanother Yes masterpiece as they all are.
ОтветитьI never saw this until today. I'm breathless.
ОтветитьCriminal to rock this fucking hard.
ОтветитьWell...this is certainly a "Time-capsule", isn't it! Whew...that early 70's "Style" - Chris Squire's "Yak" Boots, are up there with that other monster bassist- Bootsy Collins! Organist, Tony Kaye is workin' the Father John Misty look - 50 years in advance! - Jon looks STONED! Bill - always the consummate Drummer! - and then there is Steve Howe - I am sure his name was being spoken in hushed tones all over London. I bet other Guitarist who came to see YES, went home - and just stared at their guitars, and...Wept!
ОтветитьGreat song
ОтветитьBut then it wouldn't be "free", would it? Great TV find from a band who could actually PLAY their instruments live, (although some of Bill's trademark military style trills - a la Billy Cobham Lite - do NOT appear to match what his hands seem to be doing ... hmn.) Jon's eyes look like he's buzzed out of his gourd. And all before it became too much the Jon Anderson Hobbitty Pseudo-Profound Acid Babblings Show & Band, and I lost interest.
ОтветитьWhat artistry from Steve Howe. Magnificent.
ОтветитьI still love my X wife and the #1 best concert was with her In the Omaha Civic Auditorium in ??? 81 or 79 0r ? 😂😂
Ответитьsilly human, silly human race
Ответитьback then steve held his guitar on his chest
Ответитьsteve howe pre skelatore
ОтветитьAt 9'15'' begins the most beautiful guitar restarting of all times 👍😀
ОтветитьOMG that blew me away for lots of reasons. :)
Ответитьhardly showed Chris Squier not cool Great tune i want to see Chris Squier play what a Bass player !!!!!!!
ОтветитьTony Kaye was great..He was also in Detective
ОтветитьThis band is utterly phenomenal.
Ответитьle boulot qu'il fait steve !!
ОтветитьThey never showed Chris Squire? Maybe the camera person didn’t like his boots.
ОтветитьWhat is John Anderson playing or mixing there.
ОтветитьThat must be Before Rick Wakeman joined the band. Has to be Tony Kaye on keyboards.
ОтветитьI could not agree more about Steve Howe. There is no one like him!
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite records of all time and one of my favorite Yes albums. The writing is so tight and melodic.
ОтветитьBruford drives the bus on this version!
ОтветитьWow I forgot how amazing this band was ❤
ОтветитьBeautiful german lady, ahn?
ОтветитьLike alot of great music this one's overlooked
ОтветитьAllo
ОтветитьThe mellotron or whatever it is that Anderson is playing is too loud. Other than that I love this version.
ОтветитьThere is more musicality and discipline in this, than in 100% of what passes for music these days. Taylor who????? And Squire's Dr. Suess boots rock!
ОтветитьGroovy like a Fellini movie
ОтветитьMy eyes hurt, but my ears are loving it!!! 😃
ОтветитьLooks like Howe on guitar!
