You should one day visit a car factory and do a show around (if they let you). It could really make this channel more well known

Seems it failed because the end users didn't think it was worth it, nothing can work if some parts aren't done. Lazy or ignorant? Or both?

If I had this classic car, I would treat it as designed. However, if I bought this car in a molested state and just wanted to copy the original, then I would swap out the original induction and ignition system with a modern design, so the water/ methanol mix wouldn't be needed and power gains would be higher over the original. A 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo can make much more power than that 3.5L did, and even more than a small block Chevy did in the 1990's! I mean, look, Chevy is building 1/4 ton trucks with 4 cylinders today! Ford mustangs with a turbo 4 make more power than the 5.0L Fox body mustangs of the late 80's and early 90's, with less than half the displacement! And that means that highway crusting is much more fuel efficient than a V8, even with cylinder deactivating tech.

Well considering every modern turbo car I've owned burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles and keeping that topped up to keep from destroying the engine is something you find yourself doing once a week I'd have a jet fire with turbo rocket fluid to keep an eye on for sure. The first mass produced American turbo car! Putting a carb in place uf the charge induction is blasphemy.

For daily driving, naturally aspirated engines will be the reliable answer. Keep it simple!

My first car purchased with my own money was a 1963 Corvair Spyder (150hp turbo)
It had lower compression than the other Corvair engines so it didn't need fluid injection.
I traded it in for a 1965 Corvair Corsa (180hp turbo). Same low compression, just larger displacement. I liked the Spyder, I loved the Corsa.
