Breast implant illness (BII) is real! From a business perspective, the manufacturers of these implants and most plastic surgeons will deny it exists because obviously they’ll lose money. But so glad there is more awareness being spread to dissuade women from getting them.

Pretty sure every woman out there knows that you have to get them redone like every decade or something like that. Also every doctor I saw went through the list of side effects and issues. These are no secret I guess this woman is just bringing them up to spread awareness to those who don’t know or are not educated in this realm of things.

The surgeons are making bank off of you getting these implants. Like six grand a pop. So there’s no way they’re going to turn you away and to not getting them, they want you to get them. Do your research is all I have to say. I had consultations with like four and had the 3-D imaging done and everything. I just worried too much about my scoliosis and I’m already in so much pain I just wanted more research to be done in that area. I am very hesitant on having children obviously as well.

I would love to see the research on scoliosis patients and breast implants… Especially when the curvature’s are in the upper thoracic… Does it progress quicker when you have implants because of the frontal weight? When I was doing consultations and I asked this question the doctor just said some thing like his wife has scoliosis and got implants and she’s fine. At that moment I knew I did not want to go to him because that was so general and so blanketed… Mine is rare and different… Maybe hers is in her mid to lower back row minus like by my neck and chest….
