We Know when Aether got sealed away for 500years He lost the majority of his powers and we know Aether can summon a sword on command as we see him do many times, most of the time summoning the Dull Blade by command.

So could it just be as simple as when He was sealed away and lost most of his power His sword as a result reduced to the power and form of the Dull Blade.

Also Lets keep in mind Aether and his sister’s original element was light a combination of the other 7 ( which at the time of this comment ) We don’t have BUT Every time we see Aether use a Light based attack or use any move that seems to call upon his original power the Dull Blade of Aether’s seems to crack and glow with Light. So i assume the more we continue to see Aether rediscover his power maybe even potentially crossing swords with his sister, The Dull Blade of the Aether will eventually Glow, Crack, & Break revealing the 5star Sword. know as the “Twin Travels Blade” (place-holder name ) that it originally was.

the funny thing is how in the start of the game when you choose between Aether and Lumine you can see them let go of their sword and their sword get eaten by the blocks like what happened with their sibling who was still holding onto their sword, so I think Lumine/Aether actually has Aether/Lumine sword with them.

actually the traveler loses it in the initial cutscene too free themselves from the unknown god, it i also the reason whay their sibling was trapped, they held onto their sword and yes, kaeya later mentions that sword in "The sword was dropped from Celestia into the sea by a god. It was later salvaged by my grandfather's crew by pure coincidence. The moment he gripped the sword, thunder roared, billows hollowed, and the clear skies were suddenly swallowed by raging winds..."

Why doesn't the sibling recruit travellor.

When I started Genshin Impact, I noticed that our character abandons his blade and uses an attack from his hand. It was hard to not notice for me

Aether or Lumine swords is strongest. The first cutscene already show how powerful it is and this most powerful sword in the final ending.

if Tanjiro were to be in Teyvat and got the dull blade his new breathing prob will be "Teyvat breathing first form: Mora bankruptcy" or "Teyvat breathing second form: No. 13 Fatui harbinger the sister finder" or maybe "Teyvat breathing third form: the dull blade"

The reason why the traveler doesn't have his sword it's because it's tied to his sealed powers. The more elements they get, the closer they are to regain it (you can see clues in childe fight for that)

Here's an idea.
The God of space (Unkown God) sealed not only their power but their sword as well. Maybe the sword helps draw the full power of aether. (THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR OWN SWORD THAT LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME BTW) I believe that in the later updates we will see them

Aethers blade is in the hands of an Alberich, might be Pierro. Aside from Kaeya, there is no mention of another Kaenrhian aside from Kaeya and Pierro alive, maybe they are related. who knows.

i doubt the sword is going to be obtainable until every traveler element is added, but if and when we can obtain it, i hope it makes the traveler viable in a way other than applying dendro with their burst

Thats actually so crazy to think about. I’ve just finished up every single quest in genshin and in all of the cutscenes ive always wondered why hes was using the dull blade. Never would i had thought that it had something to do with the opening cinematic.

Why does celestia always how to be connected with monstadt?
1st: at the big statue of venti there is a carving that says: gate way to CELESTIA
2nd: keaya is from kaenri'ah wich was destroyed by CELESTIA
3rd: we meet dianslief at monstadt(same reason to keaya) CELESTIA
4th: the reverted statue is from monstadt and it is stollen by the abyss people from keanri'ah which was destroyed by CELESTIA
