Fine I’ll Say It, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is Better Than Skyrim

I want to make it known I love Skyrim, I legitimately have over 2,000 hours on it lol. Kingdom Come also had the advantage to look back at all the successful rpgs over the past decade and fine tune the features of their game. Don’t take the title to serious ❤

I would love a grand schale rpg with realistic mechanics where you could eventually work yourself up to become either a feudal lord, merchant, diplomat or something like a spie. Something like court intrigue and diplomacy has a lot of potential in gaming.

I appreciate Kingdom Come, but it's also the game that made me realize that realism kind of sucks sometimes. It's a great game but not being able to start a quest because I'm a peasant wasn't really a fun experience. I guess I'll forever be a Skyrim casual.

i want to play this game sadly i cant play first person games, it will give me motion sickness especially on 60 FPS

Gothic 2, KCD and Skyrim are the best games around.

I LOVE this game I just can’t take the underwhelming combat. I came from playing Mordhau really seriously to KCD and it felt weak. I get they were being realistic but a lot of the strikes/impacts weren’t realistic, it just felt like you’re hitting paper, not skin and bones. I got to a point where i could solo an entire stronghold and wrecked the tournament so i know how to fight, it just felt weak. Hard to convince myself to finish the game. Everything else from graphics to story to immersion is top tier tho.

I don't know if I'm stupid or what I couldn't pickpocket so I installed the game lol.

This is something i've been missing in RPG's. The feeling you're not the main character but just a dude trying to survive makes everything feel more consequential

Lock picking is really easy with mouse and keyboard

I really loved this game but I could not cope with the lockpicking. It got to a point in the story where i had to complete a lockpick quest and kept failing. I hate it in a game when the whole thing becomes unviable unless you cannot do one small thing. Same in Assassins creed early games where you have to do a parkour run in a certain limited time. Frustrating.

Skyrim. The game that everyone has and no one has beat.

it's an incredible game - i wasn't expecting it. Took me 7hrs to kill my first enemy, i was so terrified it was intense

I bought it on Xbox when it came out. The combat sucks so much that I will never go back to it. It’s so unintuitive that I just wanted to play a game that doesn’t waste so much time and gets to the fun faster.

Played it twice and never finished it. Both time game breaking bugs prevented progression... The second time was after over 30 hours playing

From the time I graduated college to the day I started my first job, this game got me through that point in my life.

I gave when playing for the first time. I couldn’t even win fist fight. Later when I started playing and when I learned master strike, it was best satisfaction of any game mechanics; even better satisfaction than Souls game.

Base game yes, modded Skyrim is better though.

I love both games but kingdom come deliverance put me in a time and place like no other game ever had. The only other game i can think of that is close to the immersion is The Long Dark.

This video needs boosted ao bad. I love this game, my brother got me into it when it was on sale on Xbox a long time ago and I never started it until last year and maaaaan I was missing out! I loved the story and honestly I felt myself roleplaying as Henry more often than acting how I would in this world like I would in an RPG like Skyrim.

It was a long time ago I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but I never forgot the experience. That says it all for a game. There are a lot of good RPGs, but to my taste neither came even close. It is so carefully crafted that makes look other AAA games like indie games. Although tbh, we live in a moment in time that is not that irregular to see independent devs make better games than some AAA studios.

The best playthrough i ever had in Kcd was my first hardcore playthrough. Instead of doing the main quest after waking up at the Rattay mill, i did the millers quests and became a wandering theif. Every day i wandered through town casing houses, stores, and people to rob. Then once night fell i broke in and stole everything not nailed down, and snuck out of town to sell it all to the miller. I began wandering the map going from town to town planning heists, and doing thievery related side quests until i was a master at stealth, and so rich i could afford the finest horses and clothes. Everyone was always complimenting Henry of how nice he looked in his silk clothes fit for a nobel prince. Eventually i was pulling off massive heists in Rattay, and using the money to fund my own village project up North. What an amazing game!

Yep skyrim is shit

Makes me happy to see this game continue to get love. I keep this installed on my system no matter what--I always come back to it, usually to goof around. It's anything you want it to be... as long as you wanna get medieval. Managing and renovating a village, patrolling the highways for bandits (and killing them) and occasionally getting blackout drunk in town, but it's okay they still love me here... but not the next town over, I don't wanna talk about it.

12/10 would experience medieval hardship again. Seriously, play this game.

Watching this video I'm reinstalling on pc. Time for another re run. Such an amazing game.
