Pajero owners manual states that you can move from 4H > 4HLc while moving under speeds of 100km.
ОтветитьGood explanation bro. I have 2003 Pajero 3.0 Arab version. How about rpm on 3.0 engine? I saw car rpm on riding sand very high. Which high rpm is normal -is not risky for this engine on offroad? If you know please share.
ОтветитьExcellent video - simple & clear! I have a 2018 NX & have only just realised by reading the card above the visor & in your video that when switching from 4HLc to 4LLc & back - the gear lever should be in N. What happens if you do it with the vehicle stopped but in D or P? I have done little 4W driving but may have done this a couple of times not realising it should be in N - could this have caused damage? Appreciate your thoughts. Regards. Laurence 😃
ОтветитьHi,i own a montero but it dsnt have the RD lock button as its showing in urs..may be they dnt offer that here in my country..but would like to understand the difference between 4LLC and the Real differential...will it make a huge difference in terms of capability ?
ОтветитьHi, can you use the 4LLC in very steep road + curve (hairpin turn) but on the road? like driving on mountain highways. also can It be used for the same situation but going down on the mountain.
I am using 4Hlc on driving this steep road in the mountains but just want to know if I can use 4Llc since someone told me that you can only use 4Llc on a straight road not on curves.
Great Video, Very good explanation, thank you!
ОтветитьClear and knowlegable. I would like to add a case where its good to use 4H. When u r traveling with full seats of large oeople and have heavy leggages in the back and u feel the car not in its usual power of driving and shifting the gears. Then try 4H u will feel anazing and how string this car
ОтветитьHow is Pajero comparing with the X trail?
Ответитьcan you go over 100km/h in 4H?
ОтветитьThanks. I had a 3rd generation Pajero and had no idea how to use the super select. I'm planning to get a 4th generation and do some serious offroading...Thanks!
ОтветитьDo you feel that there's a need for a way to switch off traction control (TC) and possibly also active stability control (ASC) when driving on sand and snow? Doesnt TC and / or ASC get you bogged in quicker due to the car (wheels) being slowed down when it loses grip?
ОтветитьVery useful, appreciate it bro
Ответить4H is AWD...Use it all the time. That's right, don't just use it for wet conditions etc. The difference in fuel use is infinitesimal.
ОтветитьMeans 4H is kind of AWD
ОтветитьThe manual was never this clear. Big thanks! Proud 2001 LTD Mitsubishi Montero owner. Superb offroad machine!
Ответитьthe Pajero sport 4x4 system seems better, it has sand mode, snow, rock, etc. on top
ОтветитьSome models should also have a rear lock, or am I wrong?
ОтветитьHow does diff lock button work within these modes? I read somewhere that its not required with 4LLc
ОтветитьI need this car so much
ОтветитьThere is no locking between the engine and the wheels, there is locking between the front wheels and the rear wheels. Your transmission (automatic with torque converter and manual with clutch) is between the 4x4 transfer case and the engine.
ОтветитьGreetings all, I have two questions I humbly ask of you good folks about gearbox mode changing on my Mitsubishi Pajero GLS 3800cc V6, 2016 model:
Can I really use the 4H mode continuously while driving on normal tarmac road (instead of 2H mode) without having a degenerating effect on the gearbox?
And must the vehicle be stationary, with the gearbox in the N position, before switching between any of the four gearbox modes 2H to 4LLc? I know people say you can be moving during some of these mode transitions, but my mechanic says its best not to do this to prolong gearbox life span! What’s your take on his opinion?
Thank you all 🙏💐
When do you use r/d lock, and when do you activate it?
ОтветитьSUPREB Explanation!! I'm Still on Baby Steps Mode (Both Driver and my New Pajero 3.8L Signature <1000km) and your explanation really gave me in depth knowledge top-up (in addition to reading the manual). Really very eager to test the 4WD gears once I get more KMs on the ODO. Super Thanks Again and Cheers !!
ОтветитьAnd the difflocks.
ОтветитьThank you so much!! This is incredibly helpful!
ОтветитьThis is what I have in my l400 delica can not wait to try it out as did not understand it but you have explained it nice and simple how to work it properly thanks for that
ОтветитьVery nice video. 👌🏿
I've owned the Pajero 1, two Pajero 2's both 3.0L V6 Petrol and now the 3 GLS 3.0L V6 (2006 V73w which I reckon is the best of the lot).
Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
Great video. I am thinking about buying a Pajero Signature Ed. next year, and I did a test drive in the city days ago. Really enjoyed the car and this video was very useful, because I am planning to use the car in the desert a bit on the weekends.
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank you.
ОтветитьNice one well explained. Thank you
ОтветитьAt what position should a diif lock gear be when not in use is it at4hl,or 2hl?
Ответитьis gas fuel 4x4 pajero would be a good buy??how much consumption or how many km per liter consumed..pls respond on this... im buying gas fuel pajero..2006 model..
ОтветитьCan explain when to use R/D lock on pajero
ОтветитьVery good explanation 👏 thanks
ОтветитьHi
Which position I need to keep on normal gear while using 4W options ? N or D ?
Pls can you explain usage also ?
Thanks so much
ОтветитьSo 4Hlc brings out more power than 4H ? Does this mean it'll accelerate faster than in 2H AND 4H ?
ОтветитьLike and signature for efforts in the name of Pajero 4😉
ОтветитьThank you for the explanation. You made me understand everything of 4x4 Gear. You are a good explainer👍
ОтветитьFor Hills which mode can use better
ОтветитьCan you go max speed with the car in 4H mode?
ОтветитьI have a pajero of 98 Automatik and I am thinking to have one like this model DiD 2004 !
I use rarely only the end of 4x4 (is manual enter) and 4LLc I think only in some parts with last option auto has no velocity but is amazing for bad terrain with leaves and where auto has more power to push that place !
I don’t know how is this mode comparable to Land Rover 2002 or Range Rover 2002-2005 for such terrains ! Better a Rover or this Mitsubishi !
Probably only Defender of Range Rover can handle better than this Mitsubishi model! I hope not to be wrong
When should you use your Rear difflock?
ОтветитьCan we shift from 4H to 4HLC without nutrel and stoping the car ? And 4hlc to 4h vise versa ?
ОтветитьSo 4h for towing and off-roading
Ответитьwhat about the rear differential lock? regards
ОтветитьThank you sir
ОтветитьThank you for the very helpfull and informative video. 2 thumbs up to you!
