More straw manning all they have to be able to do is have culture that works and to be able to travel the oceans, (not even cross them just follow the coast lines) they dont need to be floating stones around or populating the planet they dont even need farming. Animal husbandry would have been enough or net fishing both well within the capabilities of acient people and all this has been proven to have happening well before the end of the younger dryas.

Nepotism and self superiority, arguements from authority, in love with there own intellect same things archeologists always give us.

Graham was actually extremely famous in the 90's already after Fingerprints of the God's. Otherwise BBC Horizon wouldn't have done that awful hatchet job documentary on him so early trying to discredit his theory. The younger generation today just assumes Joe Rogan sent him to infamous stardom. People today unfortunately don't read books never mind scientific papers. I enjoyed the debate and thought Flint had a very good coherent argument that at times I could see Graham trying to thwart by going off topic. It did annoy me, particularly when Flint was addressing some good examples of architecture in ancient Greece and Graham immediately tried to debate Sacsahuaman. I didn't see where this was relevant? I've have enjoyed all of Graham's work over the last 30 years have met him many times and his Wife Santha. He's a lovely guy, and he has signed all my books. Including my treasured original 1995 copy of Fingerprints of the God's. What Graham did for me as a young man in the 90s was more to do with opening my eyes to the world. I went travelling to nearly all the sites in the book. Met many interesting amazing people and cultures. Crazy to think I was 19 in 1995 and I'd never heard of the Great Pyramid or even the Mayans. I even learnt to Scuba dive in 1999. Since then I've read many more books from various authors. Prior to that I was very lazy and read nothing at all. I'm now going to look more into what Flint is saying because it's extremely interesting and of huge relevance to this subject. Thank you all

I went into the discussion on the side of Graham, but very quickly realised, that he's framing Flint for bullying, when during the discussion, he was actually the one". Flint was very calm. Graham was almost arrogantly laughing at everything Flint said. Also, i'd rather have a slow change in our perspective of history, but well documented and proven with facts, than a rapid rewrite of history wihtout actual proof, but simply built on theories.

I can show you Atlantis. Dibble was correct in saying the Magdalenian is a good start. He was incorrect however when he said there isn't another artifact like the one at ganung padang. In fact, the artifacts that follow the same pattern come from the Magdalenian. I can say this until I'm blue in the face but in reality it has become clear that no one really cares. All that matters is what the majority want to believe. Yee haw

Sorry, but there's soooo much to debunk here. Flint is not only wrong about shipwrecks, but laughably wrong. 1) The Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis doesn't suggest the entire world was impacted all at once, flooding everything everywhere. Just a half dozen places at most. And at least one, and perhaps more, were over the ice sheets. 2) the Dokos shipwreck is the oldest shipwreck yet discovered at about 2,500-ish years old. And all that's left is a bunch of broken amphorae... no ship, just crockery. And what isn't rotted away is buried under silt. Any shipwrecks Graham is talking about would be three times as old. 3) More importantly, the issue isn't just the age of old shipwrecks, but their depth. Free divers can only go down about 40 meters without special equipment, whereas the remains of any ancient ship would be at least 120 meters.

There are a dozen or more points I could make about Flint being wrong, but hopefully, you get the idea. Please don't hold him up as someone to be championed.

I think Flint did good
But him going after graham and his ideology to introduce them as facist in nature really made it hard to support him. It undermines true real nazis and makes people who can tell graham isnt a facist to believe you are trying to make a political argument rather than produce evidence to prove a important point
He melted him everywhere else though

I don't understand the discussion didn't start with Egypt, where those giant granite statues, or vases made of corumdum and diorite perfectly made have been found. Creating those with primitive tools just isn't possible. Thats evidence of knowledge. Corundum is no material for crafting or shaping.. Its density is close to diamond where we need advanced machinery to work with.. This evidence is undeniable..

Don't Ignore this please !! The only thing that matters is the truth !!

At the end of the day all that needs to be done is replicate the stonework/walls found all over the world ,in particular Natural Stone placed with such Precision it looks as if it was heat molded that for some reason we cannot replicate with all the technology we have the fact of the matter is if we can't replicate it today then they had access to a technology that is lost to us .

Wait, I didn't know we were still even debating that the younger dryas was even a real thing that's still in debate how many fucking decades is that going to be up for debate what does it take to get the fucking gatekeepers to accept something like that? I'm genuinely fucking asking. This is baffling. It's almost as if they don't want the narrative to change, isn't that crazy? Almost like it's a fucking conspiracy or something. But I know that's not the case because they wouldn't do that to us right? Never, certainly not! I mean, it's never happened before right?

The strict timeline of hunter/gatherer then agriculture then civilization never sat well with me. Look at today’s modern society. We still hunt and garden, yet we have no reason too. So why would ancient people have needed to follow such a progression. They would have absolutely crossed back and forth between those lines easily. We still do today.

Both sides are wrong. Evidence from both sides of the argument are not strong enough too support any conclusive answers. However, I am more willing to believe the side more confident in their answers, for obvious reasons; not always though. The problem with this gentleman is a clear lack of confidence, poor speaking ability, and shaky evidence. Hancock may have poor evidence, but he clearly has confidence, and amazing public speaking. I am on the fence on this issue, but I am rocking in favor of Hancock. Due too mainstream everything tending to be lies, not that the other side doesn't lie outright. Archeology as many classical and scientific studies, have become religions and new ideas are considered blasphemy especially of that idea could shake the social fabric. History and Archeology are not more that speculations.

Closed minded people claiming to have objectivity while admitting they have no regard for other fields of study is the problem here. The audacity to say you're an expert in a field all the while ignoring or dismissing the things IN your field you can't explain as unimportant and irrelevant.
I have computers and flat panel TVs in my home. I also have some hammers, saws, volt meters, soldering irons.... Well I MUST have built all these things because they're here with me! Disregard where the materials came from and how they were acquired, disregard the mere work and materials required to make these things. That's what I'm getting from this turd, and I really don't care for most of Hancock's ideas. Regardless, there are questions these "archeologist" and "academics" can't answer without asserting speculation. I'm not 'down' for taking one baseless theory over another and listening to them have a pissing match over it and crying to others who'd let them cry on their shoulder like this.
