How about back pain second to hip
ОтветитьThank you Leah! For example, due to my hip injury, I developed Sciatica or Lumbar Stenosis which is also listed as Degenerative Arthritis. This in turn can force a strain in the upper spine (cervical stenosis)…which is a presumptive caused by the stress in the Lumbar region.
ОтветитьCan hip pain also be contributed to knee and ankle injuries
ОтветитьIs there a link for the articles mentioned?
ОтветитьHi Leah new sub here. First of all how does a veteran get a list of their own conditions when doctors do not diagnose? I feel my treatment got narrowed down to diabetes and not seen for anything else. Everything else is on the back burner. I’m not going camp out at the VA to treat one condition at a time. I believe I have conditions not addressed
ОтветитьThank you Leah and yay, the braces are removed!
ОтветитьHow do you file a secondary? Is it a different form? Or do you specify secondary in the description ?
ОтветитьGreat job Leah...thanks for your time😊
ОтветитьI have degenerative disc disease, and I know after many years cant twist it makes me end up having a strain that I have to get shots for… so I added it secondary to my back and VA denied it. Appealing now to HL review
ОтветитьWhere are the articles at? Are they supposed to be linked in the description?
Ответить@prestigeveteranmedical Thank you for this post as it is most helpful. I have asked over the years why I have pain in my hips. More on my left side, the same as the L5-S1 damage. X-ray revealed osteocytes, arthritis, and changes. I'm not sure if they are weight-based, age-based (I'm now 63), or due to Lumbar damage. This gives me a place to start research to see if there is a connection. I asked my PCP what could be done? Noting until later and then maybe going in and cleaning the area out yet there's a risk of causing further damage. I love the inconsistent inconsistencies when dealing with the VA and the human body. ;)
ОтветитьI have degenerative arthritis to include intervertebral disc syndrome with strain thoracolumbar spine, after that both of my hips, my left knee, my left shoulder and I have done the C 4 - C 7 A C D F (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) in my neck due to degenerative arthritis. Also, due to this, I have gain a lot of weight.
ОтветитьOMG! Look at those arms! What's your secret!
ОтветитьLeah completed a Nexus Letter for me connecting my service connected injuries Ankles and Knee to multiple back issues that I am currently suffering from. I completed my C&P exam thru the Hampton VA hospital. The Nexus Letter was so thorough that when I viewed the Note of my C&P eval, via thr blue button report, it appears that the VA C&P examiner was in agreement and used Leah's evidence (Research & Medical Articles) to agree that my back issues are "at least likely than not" secondary conditions and supported my claim.
Great job Leah. I definitely am very pleased using your services.
Thanks for the information
