Edgar Bug is an egomaniac, but he does have a point. To him, WE'RE the bugs.

I've never understood why Edgar (before he was turned into a skin suit for a giant cockroach) hired an exterminator to kill some bugs in his shed/barn. Unless it was a wasp nest or fire ants or something it just seems like a waste of money to me.

I Love Men in Black so much. Men in Black is one of my absolute favorite sci-fi films, Vincent D'Onofrio as Edgar the Bug will always be the best Men in Black villain, and Edgar the Bug also sounds like Robbie Rotten from LazyTown.

I just finished the novelization, and you get a LOT of what Edgar is thinking.

The Bug is actually extremely intelligent and well spoken in his mind.

In the book, when he speaks, his language is being translated so he comes off as dumb.

But, he's actually REALLY smart.

I recommend the book to any fan. I enjoyed it.

And, Vincent D'Onofrio is just brilliant.

Notice how Edgar doesn't look as gross here as he does later on. The skin isn't properly decomposing yet.

The pest are out of control

This movie is a lot darker in hindsight.

The worst bit about this film is not a giant horrifying cockroach eating a man alive to live in his decomposing body. Its being totally right about human beings on planet earth and you can't disagree with one word Edgar says.

As an Adult, I sometimes find myself agreeing with Edgar here, but "Short pointless lives" from an insect is doing a lot of heavy lifting, like "bitch, two days of life and you're ready for retirement"
