A ride similar to this failed and the carts went off the track killing people who fell to their death at Alton Towers UK.

When taking these down why not take it apart bit by bit rather than basically smashing it? Ik smashing it is cheaper but cant it be reused especially the supports?

I haven’t ride this coaster, but I do think it was one of the most best rides at Cedar Point.
