Dude, I like Thylas too, but like so many others there really is no use for them in either PVE or PVP so, I think other than you , no one really bothers to tame them.

You can also heal wild Dino’s with a snow owl

Any tips for non dedicated server crashing and wiping all of your Dino’s and base. Me and my brother don’t have anything left. My screen froze so I had to force quit. When I came back non of our Dino’s or houses were there :(

Can you put pins on the map on Xbox?

Did you know you can by pressing ALT and a number with a torch, bow, slingshot etc. on it the same time repair that item if the durability is not 100% without the need of opening your inventory

This isnt a tip just something fun tame as many dilophasuars as you can and make an army it is alot of fun they live for the battle if leveling them you can take down massive dinos

Rare flowers won't aggro a Quetzal

Harpoon launcher, net projectile. When the Quetz goes down build a dino gate with its neck between the two uprights. Now build 3 further dino gates at 90 degrees, til the square is closed.

The quetz can't fly away. Tame it at your leisure.

Just discovered this. Harvested a trilobite with a Moschops and got hundreds of chitin.

In regards to fish baskets expiring, you can also release the tamed fish and cryo them until you’re ready and just pop them out in a water source and re basket

I actually don’t usually tame flyers cause I had a bad habit of not emptying my inventory but now it’s because there are more things on the ground than in the air. There’s more experience and excitement on the ground

On the Ichtyornis, it does not need to be able to carry the target, it needs to get the KILL!

If I could add a tip to your video it would be use a canoe because scary things attack rafts out on the ocean.

Also for maewings they lay every type of eggs for every tier of kibble so actually best tame to get early to be able to get best results for every play thru. Especially since you can literally tame those very early on in game.

Just a tip ;) you can hit C and scoop up the babies with the Maewing instead of using the radial wheel.

You could do a mini series whereby you use a ground mount to find every explorer notes and dossiers just a thought

Good morning Phlinger! I am an old school ARK'er as well. I played Ark day one release. At the end of 2019 I had 45K hours and then stopped counting the hours. I am unsure how many hours I have now. It has been amazing journey. Epic tips fer sure! God Bless!

I had an interesting early game storage idea. I tamed Dodos, named them what I needed to store, filled them up with those items and a few stacks of berries, then set them in my tiny shelter. They can hold a lot more items than early game storage containers and take up a lot less room. 😊

Closing in on 2000 hours. I knew the thief bird could turn fish golden, but never knew about prime from dodos... Thats impressive

Tip#1: Kill every Pego that comes within your peripheral vision.
Tip#2: Don't go to the swamp or the redwoods. Bob went and never came back.
Tip#3: Put the guy who leaves wood in the beaver dams in a cage until he behaves better.
Tip#4: Always tame a Thylacoleo. They make your life so much better!
