Castle: Like Father, Like Daughter I

Alexis was really the grownup in the castle household before Backett came around

I’m the Alexis to my dad’s Castle. When my parents divorced, I became the “little mother”, looking after my siblings and being responsible. Of course, my dad was and is a responsible adult but I had to be the voice of reason during his flights of fancy.

Firefly part was the best

As big of a doofus as he could be, he LOVED his daughter.

When I first watched the episode where he wore his Mal costume and the music played when he said space cowboy, the windows cracked from the fan squeal.

Molly Quinn was great. And apparently the production was respectful of her age on set.

Didn’t you wear space cowboy like five years ago.... with a famously known firefly music note on playing the background ....
But I liked it... brilliant.

One of my favorite things about this show was seeing the close relationship Rick has with Alexis. I hope my daughters and I have this kind of relationship when they grow up.

Castle is a fab dad. And alexis is a fab daughter. In fact this relationship was one of the reasons i fell for castle. Beckett did too.

Alexis was born into a wrong family as a result of which she has to self punish herself 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think this was the best writing and portrayal of a father daughter relationship played very well y these two talented actors
