what about ultra low latency using gsync+vsync+cap -3? I am being capped by the ull in this situation...

Funny enough I did this the other day because I was playing beam NG.. and frames on that are all over the place so I use the cap inside the Nvidia control panel like you showed but that's all I did and I capped mine at 100.. And yes it was definitely slightly smoother and also it did not get my laptop as hot either It ran a lot better so total thumbs up for this one.. 👍👍👍

When I apply the fps cap using rtss it doesn’t change to the cap I’ve set? Tried this on ready or not was getting 150 changed it to 120 and it stays at 140-150

I have 2 PC. On my GTX 650 PC which i use to multimedia has no issues with rtss with capped fps. Tried with Far Cry or Pro Street and works wine. But my gamer PC with my GTX 1080Ti has problem with that. I cant cap any games no matter what i try (other nv driver etc.) Any suggestions?

i got a I7 7800x 3.50GHz a 3060 with 12GBs and 32GB Ram as 2x 16 and got like 40 FPS in GTA 5 wtf is going on?

how the hell did you manage to make Riva tuner Work work in csgo O_o i followed exactly the settings you've shown and such but in csgo it doesn't work for me, i checked if the bind (shortcut) was the issue but isn't, i tested in apex and it worked perfectly (even tho for some reasons my fps were caped at 144)

A other game:perfect frametime Cod warzone 2.0:The frametime drops as i move my cursor💀

I’m having some difficulty with my new setup. Just went from a 3080 10gb to a 7900xt and I’m getting a lot of micro stutter. What’s odd is that I could run warzone 2 with gsync and fluctuating fps with buttery smooth performance. Any tips or ideas @panjno

CSGO just still has inconsistent frame time / spikes no matter what, I get around 400-500 fps uncapped, capped it at 240, still spikes, at 144, still spikes and you can really feel them, its so annoying cause its not a performance problem for my pc but rather some software problem....

The FPS cap with RTSS mixed with frametime monitoring is the best piece of advice I have come across.

Never knew a lot of stuttering issues were from a FPS cap being far too high and you should adjust until a smooth result is found through monitoring.

Of course, this also implies the game you are playing is optimised as this won’t work on a game that runs awful regardless of FPS cap.
