ОтветитьMagma can make magma crystals
ОтветитьCame here because of Mayon Volcano event right now 😢
ОтветитьI am here because Mayon Volcano of the Philippines is currently erupting. Huhu.
ОтветитьIt s nice video, HOWEVER, it doesnt explain the hotspot areas in the world, nor differentiate those types of eruptions from the ones caused by tectonic plate movements, perhaps it could be added to the video? Mary (A volcanic lava tube guide in Tenerife)

ОтветитьSo cool to learn
ОтветитьMy teacher want me to tell me why volcanoes erupt and I had to study it and that’s why I am here I hope that this video is right

Ответитьwhat is a supervolcano /
ОтветитьWell a cavity in the terra firma fills with red hot magma , and it’s quite a big lake backing it up
It starts to burn Rock into smoke which condensed under the pressure into granite talc
This forming super gas cloud chamber slowly backs the magma up until
BOOM
THE bigger the chamber the more rock smoke
The smaller the chamber the more red fire erupts
Thank you for sending this amazing video and by the way I adore your delightful speech this video really helped me because I have a science test tomorrow so please wish me luck ❤love youu

ОтветитьI want to say something , because of the mention of volcanologist monitoring volcanoes. You shouldn’t be afraid of Yellowstone for multiple reasons. Yes he said volcanos are hard to predict, but, not impossible. Even in the 80s we suspected an eruption of mt St. Helens. Sure it was just a suspicion, but we predict it nevertheless. Yellowstone is almost 3 times the size of Rhode Island and is the most monitored volcano in the world. Because it’s so big, if an eruption was imminent, you’d know it. Even if you weren’t monitoring it. large earthquakes would be the biggest sign. Another thing, however, is a massive increase of the gasses production. Yellowstone would be closed for safety. Some of those gasses do make it through the surface from geysers, mud pits, ext. If they started to go out of solution in massive quantities we’d know. I also want to mention, yes Yellowstone closed until further notice. It’s not from volcanic activity. I’ve oddly heard that a lot. I live only a stones throw away from Yellowstone. In fact, most people who visited it stay in the town I live. It’s closed because of massive flooding from the Yellowstone river. Yellowstone is high in elevation so the snow doesn’t melt right away every year. We had a very cold spring, and out of nowhere a hot summer. Keep in mind, Montana is extremely bipolar. We literally have -30f winters and 107f summers. It gets more tame the further west you go, but Yellowstone isn’t far enough away to not be effected by this nightmare we call a climate. Seriously, imagine Arizona and Alaska had a baby. You’d have Montana. The east is so dry it’d be a desert, if it wasn’t for the frequent storms that often have nearly hurricane level winds. There has been storms almost every year from 2014 to 2020 that caused me and almost everybody I know to complete redo their roofs from golf ball sized hail and 75mph winds. When I first moved out, I rented a house with friends. Next week, the roof was gone. Literally tore to shreds. They literally have a place called hell’s creek here. I think you can imagine why. We literally got our own version of the Death Valley. Rant over. Seriously, don’t move here lol. Between crack heads, rednecks, and the weather constantly trying to kill you it sucks and I’d leave if I could. It’s great to visit though. Seriously, it’s extremely beautiful. The mesas in the east and the mountains in the west are beautiful. Yellowstone is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. It’s just prolonged visits are usually less than fun.
