I remembered that very well. I was stationed in Howard for 3 years including the invasion days. It was very hard to go downtown with the thread of the PDF harassing or arresting u. Very exiting days.

It's a bit disturbing to see the history of my country depicted by toons. For me it's too recent maybe. And it has a few inaccuracies too. Have you seen before and after videos of El Chorrillo? Close to 20000 people lived there at the time, and it was flattened when you were done with it, and the video depicts only between 300 to 500 civilian casualties. And to that, I'd say its BS. More like 2000 dead civilians easy. Mass graves have popped up from time to time, I'm sure some are Noriega's bidding. But some might be more recent. Also, the video fails to mention that "Tomacitos", the Tomás Herrera Academy was stationed in Rio Hato. There were kids in that school. Yes, a military school, but kids nevertheless. Those were dark days. That's it, I won't bash anymore. I'm quite convinced there was no other way, but through force. Now, the magnitude of that force left some collateral damage, but we will keep going forward.

I think the most difficult was the SEALs they left high and dry on a runway with zero concealment or cover because they decided to light this thing off early like they always do!
